Anyway it's a simple enough thing to check. If doctors etc. are mislabelling deaths which were from other causes, then two things would stand out:
1. A drop in deaths from other causes, similar to the rise in Covid-19-related deaths.

It could get a bit fiddly in figuring this. With the measures being taken to reduce viral transmission we should expect a reduction in some other common causes of death. Other communicable diseases should be greatly reduced. Traffic deaths should be way down, as should recreational injuries. With so many less people about, street crime should be down, although burglary and home invasion robbery may go up. With many people confined to their own homes with their families 24/7 it's possible domestic violence will increase.
I think it will be some time before all the factors can be sorted out, and a reasonably accurate assessment can be made.
