Any handshaking and 'healing' seen afterward will be superficial at best. The nation will be divided and may never recover.

True, but they have so much further to fall, whereas the GOP needs a construction crane to lift itself to the bottom of the Abyss.
 
I found out that a lovely smart woman I had once dated, an attorney, had fallen prey to the QAnon nuttery. Very sad..

The Democratic Party are just a different flavour of government for the corporate masters. You still get screwed over but with decorum.

Matthew Wright, 33, of the Las Vegas suburb of Henderson, Nev., pleaded guilty during a mid-December court hearing in Mohave County Superior Court to making a terrorist threat and fleeing law enforcement.

Apparently he has been arrested for an incident in which he and a group of his gang tore down a banner displayed on the front of a historic black church that expressed support for "Black Lives Matter" and burned it on the church lawn.

I don't see why you find that to be a problem? We all want our ideal candidate, and sometimes have to make compromises. That does not mean we need to back the "compromise" in whatever they do. I guess most Americans have seen the reality of the Dems as more of a conservative light and the only "left socialist" trend in that party is in your own imagination.

They were (of course) labled 'white supremeacists' by the corrupt msm. Then some black members turned up, so msm had to drop it. I doubt they did what you are asserting. Probably a false flag operation meant to discredit them.

Asbury United Methodist Church, which is on the District of Columbia Register of Historic Places and is the oldest Black church to remain on its original site, said its Black Lives Matter sign was burned in the street during pro-Trump rallies on December 12.

Tarrio told The Washington Post days after the incident that he had participated in the burning of the flag, but he insisted he hadn't participated in a hate crime. He said he would surrender to authorities, plead guilty to destruction of property and pay the church the cost of the banner.

"So, let me make this simple. I did it," he said on December 18.

Looks like Tarrio was found to be in possession of two high-capacity magazines when he was arrested today, and was charged with that too. It's a felony in DC, so it looks like your boy is going to be spending at least some time in the cooler, and won't be making the demonstrations tomorrow or on the 6th that he came into town for.

The idiot also bragged about it multiple times in various interviews. He also ate a weapons charge.
