A Qanon conference held in Las Vegas last weekend saw far-right conspiracy-mongers lay out their ambitious plans to “take back the secretaries of state offices around the country,” according to Jim Marchant, who’s running for Nevada secretary of state. Marchant was among a handful of political hopefuls who’ve formed a coalition in hopes of solving the nonexistent issue of voter fraud.

“I can’t stress enough how important the secretary of state offices are. I think they are the most important elections in our country in 2022,” Marchant said at the “For God & Country Patriot Double Down” event. “And why is that? We control the election system. In 2022 we’re going to take back our country.”

Democrats need to take this seriously. They need recruit good candidates and start pouring money into those campaigns. The 527s need to start going negative on the enemy candidates as soon as they're identified.

If the Lincoln project wanted to do something useful, they'd be recruiting conservative third party spoiler candidates for these races.

I am getting a distinct impression that in the name of "preventing cheating" they are trying to make sure they have the power to overturn many elections by fiat, without having to actually prove fraud.

Is there a rundown state by state or anything like that?

This breaks down states that have enacted voter restriction laws. I didn't see anything that showed all the targeted races for secretary of state offices or country elections officials. A lot of the coverage though does some fear mongering. Yes, hundreds of bills in state houses have been introduced to restrict access but most of them are doomed. Oregon has several but I'm not seeing Kate Brown signing them into law. There are some in Pennsylvania but not going anywhere due to the lack of a veto proof majority. A lot of this is grandstanding in states where Rs are a minority party.

Arizona has a Q candidate for SOS and a complete freak running for governor. There are some important local races in Michigan that people should be concerned about. Someone is gunning for SOS in Georgia of course.

On Monday night, believers in the QAnon conspiracy theory congregated for a mass gathering at the AT&T Discovery Plaza in Dallas, Texas.

According to reporter Steven Monacelli, they are hoping for a speech by John F. Kennedy, Jr. — whom they believe is secretly still alive and working to help bring down the "Deep State."

I actually heard someone at work say that the CIA controlled Bitcoin. Not sure how it fits into the bigger picture, but he has some other nutty ideas as well.
 
The most telling thing about this rally is that there are several signs supporting a Trump/Kennedy ticket. What's telling about this is that Kennedy, a man who has supposedly been on a super secret deep cover mission for decades fighting the deep state, would be the sidekick on an election ticket.

A guy can fake his own death and spend his life tirelessly fighting the deep state, but to these people he would still be second banana to Trump. Personality cult for sure.

The Kennedys hate Trump. If JFK Jr comes back from the dead to support Trump, Jackie will claw herself free from her grave and strangle him.

Update: Now JFK Jr. will appear onstage later tonight with the Rolling Stones...because he failed to show at Dealey Plaza...because he's dead...and probably will remain dead for the time being...
