Merged Psychological conditions are illusory

Problem in the first case: Alzheimer's.
Problem in the second case: Broken bone.

Alzheimer's is what we call a specific problem in the brain and it has specific symptoms. This is a type of dementia, but it is distinct from other types of dementia like Parkinson's, ALS, etc. What's gone wrong in the brain has some behavioral similarities, but it is distinct upon examination of both behavior and the patient's brain itself.

Just like say, a compound fracture of the radius is a specific problem in the arm with specific symptoms. It is a type of damage to the bone, but distinct from a simple fracture, osteoporosis, etc.

Brains don't have problems. We have problems.

Yes. I think that eugenics is the promotion of a perfect archetype. Old eugenics promoted that perfection by rejection and murder. New eugenics promotes it by therapy.

Do you read for comprehension, or buzzwords? Your post starts with the word 'yes' then goes on to act as if I said something that agreed with you. Here's a hint. I didn't. I challenged you to provide a citation that showed that you understood the word 'eugenics' and that eugenics was actually what was going on. You didn't. I don't think you can.

You can do the same with any feeling, including 'depression'. You are merely referring depression to the same justification as sendas.

No, depression is an illness with symptoms. Even if we called depression sendas we'd still treat it. Not being depressed is the privileged binary over being depressed.

In no particular order, here are a few of jonesboy's reactions:

I'm not saying that the condition doesn't exist. I'm saying that the idea of a condition is informatively empty, and aborted right from the off.

Well, then why did psychology help me to open up and engage in social life in a much more successful way? If there is nothing to autism, then why did I need help in the social department?

That's funny. You actually described yourself when you never intended to.

This was not intended for me, but still it IS a gainsaying and "no, that's what YOU are" response, which I predicted. Nice going...

I don't know scientology. What's the connection? Why are you talking about scientology all of a sudden?

Because scientology flat-out denies that psychology works, let alone does good, which is exactly what you say.

So if you say to someone "you're autistic" then he'll know how to deal with it?

Not necessarily, but it does give people a reason not to think that I am intentionally being antisocial.

I'm not saying that the condition doesn't exist. I'm saying that the idea of a condition is informatively empty, and aborted right from the off.

This one needs a second response.

Why?

Well, what is the difference between an "informatively empty" condition, and no condition at all?

Nothing.

So you ARE saying that autism doesn't exist, you just weasel your way around the point.

What I also still miss in your posts is why the fact that a condition has been recently defined means its made up to make money.

Do you believe this also to be the case with viral/bacterial infections? Cancers? Auto-immune diseases?
Do you truly yearn for the time any sick person was just diagnosed with 'not well' and left to their own devices to see if they got better?

Yes.
So what's dyslexia?
A cause?
Or a re-spelling of "ropey reading"?

Okay, allow me to rephrase 3 as "his quoting back a phrase from one of those definitions WHILE COMPLETELY IGNORING THE DEFINITION ITSELF and replying, "Yes, I understand what {insert quoted phrase here} is, but what is dyslexia?"

What amazes me about Jonesboy, is how he consistently manages to start rubbish threads which receive over one hundred responses. We all know that he spouts total unadulterated deluded drivel, shabbily dressed up as nouveau thinking. Responding only delivers more drivel.

I think I get it. Wales doesn't exist - it's just the state of living in western England.

Look at it this way: no matter how drunk you are, you'll be comfortable in the knowledge that you still make more sense than his threads...

I was Wittgenstein and my word shall endure sufficient for an age to change the face of Mankind.

Is Galileo still around? He'd probably be interested in talking to someone else who personally experienced reincarnation.
