If we're going to attribute the motivations of the worst bad actors to the entire 1/6 crowd (including those who stayed outside, held up placards, and obeyed the law) then we're going to have to conclude some pretty horrific things about the campus protestors as well. Sauce for the goose, etc.it was NOT a protest, it was an attempt to stop, by force, a necessary step in the lawful transfer of power. It was a direct attack on US democracy itself.
"You shouldn't care about people who aren't you" is quite the mantra

Something tells me a lot of these kids think there should be no consequences for their illegal acts. And they are certainly not prepared to make any big personal sacrifices, all in the name of Gaza.
If people only got involved with things they understood, there would be no conservatism in the US.
Would I give up my college education and my freedom, in order to try to convince my college to ban Jewish groups from the school and divest from Israeli investments? No. Why should I throw my life away for an issue that may be resolved in a couple months. Or a few years.
Everyone is conservative about what he knows best.
Quite a liberal assertion

Cake & eat it too, huh?
