Who is being dishonest here? Who is insisting that we all follow a very old book and us to think for ourselves? Do you not see the contradiction here?

Mmmmm..... I like. I prefer B52's though. Rum and diet Coke is my regular drink since Bailey's is all cream and sugar. Oh, and for me, it's Sunday. I only drink Fridays and occasionaly on Saturday.

Shame on you Bjorn for suggesting I am a beggar and do that as a living. You have definitely reached the lowest depth possible in your descent to no class.

I and Family were full time missionaries living on the field from those that were living off the grace of the Lord and His mercies. This is exactly your predicament. Some of them helped us because we helped them, and then the LORD helped them in return. So the beggars of this world are those that give nothing back to the Lord when he has given them everything.

So that makes you a beggar and a miser probably as well, as you think you created and sustain your own life. Your arrogance and your choice and your responsibility, but if you continue in your descent downward, you will rue the day you hardened your heart, and figfured you were a god unto yourself.

So NO. We were never beggars, we were full time missionaries.

But Yes, we tried and proved the Lord is REAL< by living by FAITH, and you can not deny it worked.

This must grit your teeth every time you hear it, because it is proof that Jesus is real. Its not a mental word game as most of you follow and espouse and worship. Its REAL

I think missionaries tend to have sponsors. Then again, I am not sure how or what DJJ was doing, so blind guess. I helped sponsor a family friend, for three years, who was doing missionary work in the developing world: Southeast Washington DC, 1980's. She and her roomie were part of a suburban Christian missionary movement that was trying to reach out to black churches, and black communities and to help serve. The underlying premise, as I recall from a conversation with her, was "as you treat the least of these, so you treat me."

It's been a while.

yes, that's the basic Christian principle, treat others as equals and as your brethren and as you would the Lord. For none are greater or less than yourself. And as we heal, so we are healed. As we fed, so we are fed.

But no we had no home sponsorship, as I and we were never part of any church. The church system is dangerous..SEE That thread

And they absolutely proved it over and over to me and us. Examples coming on the Church is dangerous thread

We lived by faith, and even my family hated what I did as they wanted me to follow up on my degree or establish the family name in basketball greatness.

Nah, I only wanted to serve the Lord not for materialism or for glory.
