Read John 8:2-11 where Jesus is brought an adulterer by the Pharisees and is told that under the old law she must be stoned to death for her sin. Jesus did not condone stoning her to death as the old law would have dictated, he simply said "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her." This is a clear example of Jesus repudiating the old law of Moses and substituting it for his new law of compassion and caring.
I feel bad for trying to get Dustin to answer my question now, I fell into his performance art trap.
It's outdated. Jesus repudiated the Old testament 2,000 years ago.
The entire bible is the word of God and you can't just pay attention to some of it and ignore other parts of it. It's all or none in my opinion. Excluding the repudiated laws of course of the Old Testament which were Jewish tradition.
So, which is it?
I pay attention to the old testament, however I don't follow the "old law".
Right. Unlike the word "Japs" apparently.
I suppose now would be the time to call you a "politcally correct pansy" or something.

What does 'paid attention to' mean in practice? It means you read it and don't put its words into practice?
Athon
Yes. It's no longer considered moral to stone women for being adulterous.
So God changed his mind on morals? Why?
Athon
Perhaps you should try asking him.![]()

I don't even believe He exists, let alone the Bible has any validity in dictating moralilty or accurate history. But do you believe that God changed his mind on how men should behave towards immoral behaviour as history progressed?
Athon
I don't know.
If he did, I don't know why.
