Yes, new out today:

1. Punched a lady in the head when she took the last child booster seat at Ihop, International House of Pancakes.

2. People reviewing the old police record with her shooting her brother are now amazed there was no charge of murder, as there was apparently enough to consider such. Also, when the police went to arrest her, she pulled a gun on them, but they did not shoot her.

I read the same story this morning. The police were about to book her for the killing of her brother in 1986 when they got a phone call from someone and then let her go.

And no one seems to know what the results of the assault & battery and disorderly conduct charges from the IHOP incident were.

This is really strange.

It's almost like someone was trying to keep her out of prison.

Where are the CTist when you want them? (Surely there has to be a parallel to the failure of federal intelligence agencies to "connect the dots" wrt to 9/11!)

Again, if I were a victim or a family member of a victim of the Alabama shooting, I'd have an awful lot of questions.

Here's a funny comment: "Dr. Bishop is a great teacher! She talks about the stuff in the book but then she talks about extra stuff like diseases. This makes the class fun. She's super smart and thinks everyone else is too so sometimes she goes too fast."

The Alabama university professor charged with fatally shooting three colleagues is remorseful but does not recall the shooting, her defense attorney said Friday.

"She just doesn't remember shooting these folks," he said.
