There is no proof that their ties were severed. The militia may have fallen apart, but they are still criminals for having been in a private militiia in this state.
Okay, so you're moving the goalposts again. You must realize that's as dishonest as flat out lying. Heck of a way to move a discussion forward, Lefty.
Just the ones who use their weapons in committing a crime, any felony and one (current) misdemeanor. In this case, they were already outside the law in violation of RCW 38.40.120.
So all members of militias ought to be dragged off to the gulag, but only gun owners who use them to commit crimes should be arrested? Why shouldn't the same logic apply? Why shouldn't all gun owners be tossed in prison? After all, we
know gun owners are responsible for the home invasion that's got you cowering in fear, but we don't
know they were militia members, now do we? And I'm still curious about why you're scared of militias like a little kid is scared of spiders.
It's already illegal for them to have been in a militia other than the State Guard.
And instead of calling the police or the FBI, you'll take the same action as one of those 23 year old social misfits, living in his mother's basement, screaming on the Internet about an imagined conspiracy to take down the WTC on 9/11 in 2001? Call the damned police already, Lefty, then come back here and tell us how soon they'll be heading out to arrest all those big scary militia folks. Some people like Truthers just don't have the guts to do any more than bitch and moan on the Internet, eh?
The Murrah bombing and a few bank robberies and one home invasion (that we know of) so far. I'll have to do some googling to find the links to the bank robberies they committed here in WA. It's been a few years.
The question you tried so desperately to avoid answering was this:
Care to document any large scale terrorist activities by these militias you're in such a hurry to put in prison because they have you scared like a little girl? The Murrah Building was bombed by a couple of individuals who were apparently "militia movement sympathizers". Big damage, yes. Large scale terrorist activities by a militia? Hardly. Oh, and that home invasion you keep harping about? A few nuts who were so off the rails that they got kicked out of a militia organization. The home invasion, ugly as it was, couldn't be defined as a large scale terrorist activity by any sane, intelligent person. It was a robbery, done by some whacked out gun owners, your persistent arguments from incredulity and ignorance notwithstanding.
The militiias have a strong motive to lie. They would, otherwise, be complicite in two murders that will get you the death sentence in this state. So far, the state has limited resources to go after the militia scum as long as they don't do anything egregious. This may be what it takes to put them above the threshold. Damned right the maggots would lie about their membership.
This was a horrible robbery done by what seems to be three xenophobic gun nuts who were ex-militia members. They were probably also ex-high school students and ex-members of who knows what kinds of clubs, churches, and social organizations. Your continued argument that that there's a meaningful cause-and-effect because they're ex-militia seems to be based on some sort of desperate compulsion and fear.
And knock off the ad homs. I am a soldier still and still sworn to defend the constituion against scum like the militias.
So in order to defend the US constitution you'll pursue the same strategy as a 9/11 Truther, living in his mother's basement, complaining on the Internet, but without the guts to even call the police and make a report to the FBI? Oh, if only all the soldiers in our military were as big and bad and brave as a Truther.
