A spokesman for UKIP on TV news says May and the rest of her government will come crawling on their knees to Farage for help with US relations.

So when UKIP campaigned to leave the EU so they could "take back control" they actually meant so the British could crawl on their knees to please the USA. Gotcha.

It would be even more of a hoot if the British government refused to accept him.

That's right. I forgot, the country has to accept the person as an ambassador. They are entitled to just say "no". Although that rarely happens. Most recently Brazil did not accept the credentials of the Israeli ambassador.

Farage may see himself playing Vidkun to Trump's Adolf.

The Vatican also refused to accept the credentials of the French ambassador not too long ago, because the French sent them a gay man.

The French should then have responded by sending the Vatican a gay woman. That would have outraged two of their prejudices.

In his NYT interview he says son-in-law Jared Kushner could help forge peace between Israel and Palestinians.
Does that mean he is going to appoint him to a diplomatic role?

I've heard that they tested the waters on this already. Apparently it's complicated as there are laws against nepotism. And to the fanatics Kushner will be a traitor as he married the schickse Ivanka.

Netenyahu seems cautious...

"Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has told members of his government they are not allowed to contact US President-elect Donald Trump or his administration without seeking prior permission.

A letter to all ministers from Cabinet Secretary Tzachi Braverman on Monday stated that any attempt to speak to Mr Trump’s team must be made through the official channels of either the Prime Minister’s Office or the Israeli Embassy. "

Shiksa (Yiddish: שיקסע shikse) is an often disparaging[1] term of Yiddish origin that has moved into English usage (as well as Polish and German), mostly in North American Jewish culture, as a term for a non-Jewish woman or girl.
los wikis

I grew up in a Mormon prairie hick town disguised as the state Capitol of Idaho, so I had to look that up. Totally outside my cultural reference set.

Conservative backlash over Trump's 'jail Clinton' U-turn

Conservatives seized on the news as a "betrayal" and a "broken promise".

Redstate.com said that a failure to appoint a special prosecutor, as he promised, would reveal the "very real fact that the candidate is not who he claimed to be".

The right-wing Breitbart News Network, one of the Manhattan billionaire's most loyal supporters, denounced the climb-down as a "broken promise".

Conservative commentator Anne Coulter tweeted her reaction to the news, saying: "Whoa! I thought we elected @realDonaldTrump president. Did we make him the FBI, & DOJ? His job is pick those guys, not do their jobs."

She later followed up to say that: "No president shld be blocking investigators from doing their jobs. #EqualUnderLaw"

The right-leaning legal organisation Judicial Watch said it was "a betrayal of his promise to the American people to 'drain the swamp' of out-of-control corruption in Washington".
