Predict Trump's first revenge prosecutions!

Elon says
There will be consequences for those who pushed foreign interference hoaxes.

The Hammer of Justice is coming.
Yeah, that tracks.

On Thursday afternoon, a federal bankruptcy judge in Texas ordered an evidentiary hearing to review the auction process that resulted in Infowars being sold to satire site the Onion, saying he wanted to ensure the “process and transparency” of the sale. Infowars’ founder, the conspiracy mega-entrepreneur Alex Jones, has unsurprisingly declared that the auction process was “rigged” and vowed that the review process will return the site to him, while the Onion’s CEO told Mother Jones and other news outlets that the sale is proceeding. For reasons that no one has yet explained, attorneys for X, formerly known as Twitter, the social media giant now owned by Elon Musk, entered an appearance during the hearing and asked to be included on any future communications about the case.

He's really interested in justice. Are all billionaires lying pricks?

Well, of course.

Beyond formal prosecution, there will be congressional "investigations": call someone before a House committee, ask leading and loaded questions. Cut them off with more loaded questions if you don't like how they are answering the first.

That's the House, not Trump, but they might be emboldened by knowing that Trump has their back. They'll really hammer Dept. of Justice/Attorney General staff for the Jan 6 prosecutions.

B.This is what is known as a nuisance suite something Trump has along history of doing. The Amount is ridiculous and it will probably get nowhere.I know you think Trump is all powerful, but he has no power to fix juries.
Even nuisance suits create costs for whomever they are filed against.

This guy will be smiling in his grave.

And if you read McCarthy's bio, it bears a remarkable resemblance to many MAGA senators. Also, he has something in common with Trump: Both were advised and tutored by Roy Cohn.

Trump calls for probe of famed Iowa pollster J. Ann Selzer after she quits role.

President-elect Donald Trump on Sunday called for the investigation of an Iowa pollster over a bombshell pre-election survey that showed Vice President Kamala Harris leading in the deep red state.

In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump blasted the Nov. 1 poll results for causing "great distrust and uncertainty at a very critical time."

"She knew exactly what she was doing," Trump wrote of pollster J. Ann Selzer, 68, who announced her departure from political polling on Sunday.

Trump defeated Harris in Iowa by 13 points, 56% to 42.7%. But in the waning days of a pressure cooker campaign, Selzer's poll for the Des Moines Register, part of the USA TODAY Network, outraged the GOP and gave Democrats false hope ahead of what turned out to be a national Republican rout.

A probe of what, exactly?

Trump backpedaled on his promise to put Clinton in prison. He will not do much of anything to prosecute anyone else unless they are arrested as part of some other alleged crimes they committed

And he is just joking about concentration camps for the homeless...

Oh, I think he'll go after anyone he thinks has wronged him. I don't think he bore Clinton any particular animosity; somebody had to be the Democratic candidate. Same with Kamela, and probably even Schiff and Pelosi. But, as I said earlier, those who have betrayed him (and haven't reversed themselves) - i.e. Liz Cheney, Cohen, etc . . . might want to avoid US soil for a while.

Next, he'll be creating a Department of Investigations of Investigators led by Mike Lindell and Kristi Lake.

Attorney Mark Zaid, who specializes in representing whistleblowers, has guessed that Liz Cheney, Jim Clapper, and John Brennan will be among the early targets.

Not to be confused with Adolf Stalin, which he'll probably find a way to nominate for new cabinet position Secretary of Things That Irritate Me.

Okay, maybe a little over the top there. I think he already is showing his revenge by his nominations - maybe they won't get confirmed but it will be a litmus test on who he can count on before the midterms.

Nice if it happens, but I think the whole point of nominating Gaetz is he'll prosecute anyone Trump tells him to.
One class I forgot is election officials who failed to cheat for him in 2020. Brad Raffensberger, for example.

I think the real reason for nominating Gaetz is to cause a circus and outrage to distract and exhaust everyone.

Trump's nominee for FCC Chairman Brendan Carr suggests that the FCC will go after CBS for editing their 60 Minutes interview with Kamala Harris.
