PIRT: PGF Image Resource Thread

Roger Patterson image in formal cowboy dress clothing with quote about seeking and finding truth. From his book? Too large to display. Look here.

Roger Patterson image sitting in chair (being interviewed?) wearing clothes that can be seen in some riding footage. Too large to display. Look here.

Posts discussing signatures have been moved here, other posts not about bigfoot were moved to AAH since there was nowhere really appropriate for them.

Does anyone know the origin of the lineup photo?
Who took it? etc...

HBMay at BFF is claiming that it was given to Larry Lund by Jerry Merritt, but it does not explain who took the photo.

Greg Long got it from Merritt and has it copyrighted by Larry Lund. Since Merritt is in the photo I doubt he shot it.

The most logical photographer is the man that was shooting Patterson's documentary film. That man has been named recently but I can't remember where I read it (BFF?).

All the guys in that image are wearing the exact same clothes as in the doc footage from Washington. Even the horses are wearing the same tack. It seems logical (but not certain) that it was all done on the same day and by the same cameraman.

Does anyone have the image of the Roger Patterson quote, where he says "We were down there for about a week" or something like that? It is signed by him I believe.

Image: Appears to be Bluff Creek filmed by Roger Patterson.

Description: Bluff Creek scenery with full creek in view. Hillside and foliage (setting) suggests that it may be in the vicinity of the Patty footage. Scratches are consistent with other Patterson footage.

Source: "bigfoothunter" (Bill Miller) Dec 23, 2009. May have come from John Green.

Reel 2 film...

Plaster pour, not from first reel, taken by Bob Gimlin. Note Patterson's clean shave...

That's large, but the film is flipped and should be seen like this...

Cast display scene...

patterson-moves-frames-added.gif

In attempting to explain the beard growth, PGF believers have tried saying that the cast display was filmed at night under artificial lighting. Note that the shadows on background objects move between frames. Gimlin claimed this scene to be filmed by Rene Dahinden at Bluff Creek the following year when Patterson and Dahinden returned to Bluff Creek. This is impossible as this film was shown on October 26, 1967 at the Tudor Room of the Georgia Hotel in Vancouver for the media. Furthermore, between the time that scene was filmed and the Oct. 26 showing, the right cast has been sanded down to remove excess plaster next to the small toe. More details here...

I'm just amazed at how steady and professional the camera handling is before Patty shows up. So steady and the panning so smooth it's like it was on a tripod. This is for both P&G because both guys are using the camera in those scenes. Where did Gimlin get those camera skills?
