Pilot claims Boeing jets have remote-controlled self-destruct

I'm still wondering did he take an early retirement on his own. Or did NWA force him to. If that is the case it obviously has to do with his paranoid ramblings than whistleblowing.

It was certainly not for cost saving reasons since Northwest Airlines was lacking pilots this summer:
In the summer of 2007 Northwest also had labor conflict with its pilots, over the large number of end of the month flight cancellations. The pilots claim that Northwest did not have the pilots to fly its schedule; Northwest accused the pilots of calling in sick to create the problem. This was resolved with a new agreement with ALPA in August 2007 in which pilots will be compensated for overtime. Northwest has also since begun hiring of new pilots to alleviate the pilot shortages they have faced throughout the summer of 2007.

That leaves his paranoia.

Here is preview of his DVD:

Notice at 1:07 into the video that the girl with the biggest boobies is playing the decoy, quiet fitting. Make sure to get the persons sitting at an outdoor cafe at the end of the video with boxes on their heads.

Wonder what this sherlock was smoking in his pipe when he made up his theories?

At least he has a fresh set of perpetrators with the Canadians, NATO and the Clinton's among others.

As they say, sex does sell.

What funny is that those people holding the aircraft models look like brainwashed cult members. It's almost painfull to watch to be quite honest. Here's a man who once had a well paying job at an airline and he decides he would much rather follow the rabbit down the hole.

Yes, it is a sad story with elements of unintended black comedy on CaptainSherlock's part, like the video.

Looks as though not even his sister could talk him out of it according to this quote from his auto-biography page:
In discussing this investigation with my sister, who served as #3 to Janet Reno's number 1 at DOJ, when she knew she couldn’t get me off the trail she suggested I contact FBI Director Robert S. Mueller. I requested a face to face ASAP in the interest of preventing a second 9-11. No reply.

He also mentions his son in the e-mail, so this looks as a sad story affecting his closest family.

It was probably very painfull for his sister having to watch her brother lose his grip on reality.

Reading the bio again I did catch this.

Friday 23 Feb I emailed the CEO of Boeing DEMANDING that he send me a letter, notarized, and signed with his hand to me telling me all QRS11 GyroChips and "other illegal modifications" had been removed from the 108+ Boeings, the same Boeings, I alleged, triggered the $615M payment from Boeing to DOJ to abort a DOJ investigation into the illegal mods performed in 2000 to 2003. I gave Boeing 4 days and when no response by 2-27-07 I filed a civil case for $1.5M in lost income as I cannot legally fly a Boeing product. It violates my company regs and it would violate Federal Aviation Regulations.

Actually that $615 million Boeing paid to the US government had to do with the USAF tanker scandal and the Lockheed propietary information they obtained from a former Lockheed employee.

I heard an interview with him a couple months ago; he is indeed non compos.

He is, indeed. In his complaint against Boeing and ALPA, he mentions that "my company and ALPA have suggested I am crazy". We had some discussion about this on one of the early Kevin Ryan threads and enigma posted McConnell's lawsuit against Boeing and ALPA here.

Or is it 9/11 exposure, here from his Pilots for 9/11 Truth bio, whatever that is:

Oh, he is a full blown troofer, that's for sure.

We had some discussion about this on the same Kevin Ryan thread noted above, and McConnell's 9/11-related lawsuit includes an incredible number of allegations spanning 1970-2001 against a vast array of defendants including:

several former U.S. presidents;
several former Canadian prime ministers;
a bevy of politicians including Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, and John Kerry, to name only a few; and
other notables, including Jane Garvey, Rudy Guiliani, Teresa Heinz, David Rockefeller, George Tenet.

Also, there is a long list of alleged co-conspirators not named as defendants, which includes, as a mere sampling:

Kofi Annan, Conrad Black, Hans Blix, Noam Chomsky, Vince Foster, Jimmy Hoffa Jr., Saddam Hussein, Ted Kaczynski, Pierre Trudeau, Joseph Massino, and Vito Rizzutto.

I'm still wondering did he take an early retirement on his own. Or did NWA force him to. If that is the case it obviously has to do with his paranoid ramblings than whistleblowing.

I wonder, too. It seems apparent that NWA was concerned about his mental health - for good reason.

This is the first time I've read the actual court fillings. All I can say is, WOW! Is there anyone he missed, I was half expecting my name to appear on that list. Also, who hand writes a filling to a federal court?

Accusing the Canadians of being in on it adds a new twist to 9-11 conspiracy theories that's for sure. Usually if there's a foreign government that is accused it's usually Israel, i.e. the Jews.

Were I with NWA I would find any excuse to get this nutbar away from my aircraft. Who knows if a loon like this would not crash his jet into something just to prove a point?

From what I understand he's no longer flying for NWA. Besides, to do so would violate his "principles".

I just checked on PACER and it appears that McConnell has never served Boeing or ALPA with his complaint.

His complaint was filed on February 27, 2007 and the rules require that a complaint be served upon defendants within 120 days of its filing. On October 25, 2007, the court made an order requiring McConnell to show good cause why he did not effect service upon the defendants, and indicating that if McConnell does not show good cause within 15 days of receiving the court's order, his complaint will be dismissed.

I've posted the documents here.

It looks like another woo lawsuit bites the dust.

Your update certainly beats mine. My guess is he did not produce good cause and the case has already been thrown out.

I just checked on McConnell's 9/11 lawsuit and it appears that he never served that complaint on any of the defendants either.

This one was filed on May 1, 2007, and of course it is now well beyond the 120 day time frame for service. On October 25, 2007, the court made an order requiring McConnell to show good cause why he did not effect service upon the defendants, and indicating that if McConnell does not show good cause within 15 days of receiving the court's order, his complaint will be dismissed.

I've added those documents here.

Another 911/ tinhatter lawsuit bites the dust.
