Pence Vs Harris

Pence is lying that H is undermining the vaccine. She said she would take it if the DOCTORS ok's it, but not if TRUMP did.

Pence won't follow the rules anymore than Trump did.

It's supposed to be 9 sections 10 minutes long, with each section 2 mins each then arguments.

He started the third question by going back to the second question.
 
Question 3 is about if there is a succession plan if Biden or Trump die.

Pence talked about Question 2, the Trump coronavirus response, and didn't answer the question.

Harris is giving her life achievements to give viewers confidence in her ability to take over as president in the event of Biden's death.
 
This debate is (predictably) no where near as "memetic" as the Trump/Biden one, but I am reminded how... shudder inducingly wrong and creepy it is to hear Trump's unhinged rantings being sycophantically repeated in a calmer tone.
 
Klunky transition from Harris, asked about presidential health transparency, to pivot almost immediately to Trump’s taxes.

Question 4 is about why Trump's entourage haven't given detailed information about his health and his healthcare. Do voters have a right to know?

Harris. Yes, voters have a right to know about Trump's health and healthcare. Starts saying why we don't know about his taxes. The American people have a right to know what influences his decisions. Says Joe Biden is honest and upfront.

Pence says Trump has paid millions in taxes and releases stacks of financial disclosures.
 
He's as greasy as Trump. He reminds me of a televangelist who tries to come across as so caring and sincere while trying to get you to send in your money so he can care for the poor starving kids in Africa when what he really wants in a new airplane.

Pence is waffling about how (in relation to his garden party) he says "we trust the American people to make the right decisions".

Kamala could have said, "Yes, I trust the American people, but we don't trust YOU! Don't blame the American people for your reckless privileged garden party, that is your mistake, and I trust the American people to punish you for it!"
 
Also, the potted history about how I was the first black senator to blah blah blah is not going to win votes. Nobody cares! The goal is to expose Pence as the sychopantic lackey for a crazy king.

She sounds like she has no momentum at all. She sounds slow and a bit unfocused.

Harris: Biden believes economy is measured by health and strength of workers and their families. Trump gave tax breaks to top 1%. Biden will invest in infrastructure and clean energy, innovation. More.


Pence: Economic recovery - Trump cut taxes because blue-collar incomes rose. Said Harris said Biden would raise "your taxes" on day 1 - she did not. More. "Biden will ban fracking and lose hundreds of thousands of jobs".

Harris shaking her head.

Pence scared of China.

Harris: "This is supposed to be a debate based on facts and truth." Biden will not raise taxes for those under 400K/yr. More. Biden will not end fracking. Healthcare.

Pence: Obamacare was a disaster. "Harris, you're entitled to your own opinion, but you're not entitled to your own facts". Said Biden would end fracking again.
