Passive Smoking - Real?

Are there any places in the world where tobacco isn't available to the population at all, and if so, would it be possible to draw any conclusions from the levels of disease amongst the population? Just asking.

I don't know if such places exist, but you wouldn't be able to draw any firm conclusions from the levels of disease. Such a place would necessarily be isolated from the rest of the world and thus, other factors, like a lack of pollution, and a uniform diet would be confounded with the lack of tobacco. In addition, it's likely such a place would also be populated by people with little genetic diversity compared to the rest of the world which would also confound any attempted studies.
