Over Unity is No Longer Disputable

"There's a sucker born every minute." -P. T. Barnum

I think P.T. grossly underestimated.

I like the option to "Choose from 4 webcams!". I always appreciate multiple angle viewing when physical laws are violated. Or (in this case) when viewing an empty plastic box.

From what I understand this was always intended to be a toy to demonstrate the basic concept of Steorn's Orbo. This is not the actual machine they intend to produce. I am not as disappointed as some.

True believers never are... Gotta keep the faith!

I believe you may be confusing disappointment with complete lack of surprise and/or general hilarity! :D

It was supposedly going to generate energy from nothing. It hasn't. Would you like some humble pie to follow your crow?

I think he wants you to follow him while he pretends to be a leader while following these charlattans. In turn, you can pretend to be a leader and get other people to follow you. It's like a giant pyramid scheme of self-congratulatory delusion.
The Schneibsteress quoth, "I'd actually call them self-deluding congratulations."

Excuse me, but isn't a working model an actual working machine? Seems to me that in order to demonstrate the concept, you have to employ exactly the same principles. The only difference between the "toy" and the machine is the scale.

ETA: Define "the next few days."

Frankly I don't see how you can have a "toy" over-unity machine.

Surely scale doesn't make a goddamn difference when you're producing energy from nowhere?

If there is no working demonstration in the next few days then I will gladly choke down my crow.:D
Then I suggest you start lookign for recipes NOW. I'm told crow tastes really nasty, and requires careful cooking and judicious seasoning to be made palatable.

Crow In A Blanket

Ingredients:
4 pieces of crow breast meat (no bones) per person
wild rice
bacon strips
butter
salt and black pepper

Preparation:
Rub each crow breast piece with salt and pepper. Wrap each piece with a strip of bacon and place 2 wrapped pieces in aluminum foil. Cook at 300 degrees for 2 hours. Serve hot with steamed wild rice, generously buttered.

Prediction: The toy version is almost over-unity. The production version will really be over-unity. And we only need $XX million to complete our development. Trust us.

Bon Appétit:
Further to Steorn’s announcement yesterday (5th July) regarding the technical difficulties experienced during the installation of its “Orbo” technology at the Kinentica Museum in London, Steorn has decided to postpone the demonstration until further notice.

Sean McCarthy CEO stated that “technical problems arose during the installation of the demonstration unit in the display case on Wednesday evening. These problems were primarily due to excessive heat from the lighting in the main display area. Attempts to replace those parts affected by the heat led to further failures and as a result we have to postpone the public demonstration until a future date.”

He continued that “we apologise for the inconvenience caused to all the people who had made arrangements to visit the demonstration or were planning on viewing the demonstration online.”

Over the next few weeks the company will explore alternative dates for the public demonstration.
