I don't know of any evidence that illegal immigrants voted in the last election, and I am certain that it is not the case that millions of them did so. That's a fantasy.

Because he is employing a classic rhetorical trap by conflating the terms. If he can produce a single provable example, then he has met the standard of "any" and thus "refutes" the general argument.

I was just thinking that he really has missed his moment. He would try to get things with coercive lying and felony bugging and the like, but Trump has proven you don't need evidence to make claims anymore. We had people who honnestly thought that Clinton was involved in child pornography and sex slavery through a pizza place in the national security council. We are far beyond O'Keefe's pseudo investigative reporting anymore.
