Not amazing. It's simple dishonesty.

Actual words taken out of context and out of order can portray someone saying almost anything the editor wants them to say.
 
We need to distinguish between good leaks and bad leaks. This has the potential to be a good leak.
 
Based on his previous patterns, this will be a nothing-burger. Possibly some interesting stuff that right wing sycophants will lap up, but on a Grab 'Em By The Pussy scale, about a two.

(Like Assange, when one of these shills goes out on a pre-release publicity tour, they generally have bupkis. By suckering Hannity and others into interviewing him about his exciting new product, he guarantees that they'll look at it and find something good about it. Sort of self-confirming mutual interest.)

What I look forward to is O'Keefe getting stung. Someone's going to set him up for some outrageous whopper and have the documentary evidence that it's a total fabrication and sue him into oblivion.

I didn't look at his stuff for years. But he seems to have toned down the crazy a bit and jumped on the Trump train.

With a president who has the media against him, there is a big demand for alternative news, and Jones had the platform ready.

The most amazing thing about Jones is that he is my age. I use him to point out to my wife how lucky she is.

If these recordings are from 2009, either the "sitting president" they're talking smack about is Obama, or he lied about them talking about the sitting president and is trying to make a big deal about people dissing Trump sixteen years ago.

The point to "get" about O'Keefe and the Wikileaks parallel is that he's explaining people are now coming to him with video footage instead of him needing to go film it himself.

That vastly extends his reach. Julian Assange grew up as a hacker, and acting alone he could come up with an impressive enough portfolio of secret government communications and documents. But the fact he gained a reputation for publishing same, people like Collateral Murder tapes, the off-shore banking records and etc. came flooding in with juicy stuff.

So Assange's reach catapulted into a worldwide library instead of just what Julian Assange could assemble alone.
