Not sure if you've pinned down a spot yet, but I recall from my own personal recon last year there being a large pub style place in the Monte Carlo that had loads of seating and a big beer selection.

Edited to add: drat, they have music on Friday/Saturday too.

I think I've been there a couple of times. I had forgotten about that. I don't recall them ever having music, so obviously that has changed. Maybe it's not until late.

But it was a great place.

Let's not forget that poolside is always an option. :)

Music starts at 9...is what I think the website said.

Pool closes much earlier than that, Scrut!
 
On the bus on my way back to Vegas, and planning to do a little more scouting before I turn in for the night. We'll see how that goes.

(and yes, Hooters is indeed next door. Can't miss the big-ass sign on the side of the building :eye-poppi .)
 
Sitting at the nine fine, enjoying a well earned Guinness, after finding a pretty promising location, named Tom's Urban, here at New York New York.

It has plenty of seating, no live music, is open till 2 am on Thursday and 4 am on Friday and Saturday. It's about 100 meters past the nine fine irishmen, so a good spot if you want to be able to pop in at the nine too.

I took pictures, and will shortly be adding them onto the Google Drive folder I linked to in the first post in this thread. Tomorrow when the first peeps will be arriving, we might want to go check it out. :)

About tomorrow, maybe we should set a time and place to meet? Tropicana lounge might work for that
that.

Oh, and I'll add a picture or two of the circular bar thingy that I only now noticed right opposite from the nine.
