Obama: Lipstick on a Pig

Obama's having great fun with this, and meanwhile he gets to reiterate over and over again that McCain is still "More of the SameTM" even though he's now calling it "ChangeTM"

I think Obama's best strategy would be to focus on the other part of the quote, and point out that McCain's campaign has not responded to charge that his economic plan, etc, is more of the same, because it is. Just keep repeating "why is he focusing on the lipstick rather than the policies? I think you know the answer."

Palin is the lipstick that McCain put on his aggenda to disguise its piggishness. Her perfume is meant to hide the smell that tells you that the truffles in his bucket are just hiding a bunch of pig droppings.

Lipstick on a dipstick?

The crowd thought it was directed at Palin as they started chanting "No more pit bulls". How could the crowd get it so wrong?

"During the September 10 broadcast of his nationally syndicated radio show, Rush Limbaugh cropped and distorted a report by NBC News' Lee Cowan to baselessly suggest that the audience at Sen. Barack Obama's September 9 campaign event in Lebanon, Virginia, chanted, "No more pit bull," a reference to Gov. Sarah Palin, in response to what Limbaugh called Obama's " 'lipstick on a pig' joke." Limbaugh aired a cropped audio clip of Cowan saying, "[A]t an Obama rally, the crowd actually started chanting, 'No more pit bulls.' " In fact, on the September 9 edition of NBC's Nightly News, Cowan, who was reporting live from the Virginia campaign event at which Obama made his "lipstick" remarks, stated: "[A]t an Obama rally we were at earlier today in Michigan, the crowd actually started chanting, 'No more pit bulls' " [emphasis added]. Limbaugh then asserted that Cowan's comment was evidence that Obama's audience "laughed and they applauded his joke. They did not think it was just a standard used political cliché that is overused by politicians of all stripes. ... They loved it and they started shouting, 'No more pit bull.' "

So, you got that info from Rush? Maybe you better find a better source.....

Thanks for the correction regarding this.

So Obama supporters thinks Palin is a dog? A female dog perhaps?

"Obama supporters call Palin a Bitch!!"

See how easy this is to spin?

It's like reading a poem..............

Palin equated herself with a dog. A pitbull, in fact. I don't suppose she equates herself with a male dog, but I could be wrong. But, c'mon. A male dog with lipstick would look silly.

How so?

Palin's speech was much ado about nothing...well...it was about her. That was all fluff for the party faithfull.

Now a candidate wants to talk policy and uses a phrase which has been used by himself and others on many occasions in the past.

Oh come on. Obama isn't "talking policy" here. He's trying to use the "John McCain is George Bush" scare tactic. That has been the Democrat game plan all along, which is funny because it wasn't that long ago that Dems were saying that they wished Bush was more like McCain, who they liked, and that why didn't republicans nominate a good, honorable person like McCain.

Say that Obama wasn't attacking Palin if you want, but you are stretching it if you think he was doing some highminded above the fray policy wonking.

John McCain *is* George Bush. He has voted with Drunken George 90+% of the time. That's not a record you run on, that's a record you run from.

No, he's John McCain.

And Obama voted with Bush 40% of the time. Can you support a man who has agreed 4 out of 10 times with the worst, most evil, dumbest, most corrupt president in history? Shame on you.

Lipstick is a slang term for a male dog's junk.
