Obama is a thin-skinned narcissist

Except of course they haven't anymore. The danger about basing your argument on feelings is that they can run out of control, and they have. The Republicans have stirred up so much anger and fear that they made Trump a viable candidate, Kind of reminds me of the end of Forbidden Planet:[/I]

THAT is an absolutely great analogy!
Forbidden Planet- One of the great SF movies of all time!

Somehow I couldn't resist and I did a word count of Obama's most recent speech at the 2016 White House Correspondents Roast:

As far as I could characterize them, I counted approximately 480 words making fun of himself versus 760 total making fun of everyone else, with the latter split roughly evenly between the press, Democrats, Republicans, and even his own family. If we break it down per "target" then Obama made fun of himself much more than of any other one individual. Versus approximately 900 words in praise of others in the same speech. And this, at a roast, is evidence of his thin-skinned egotism, right?

I always liked this one

I'd say we have resolved this issue nicely. Conservatives who called Obama a thin-skinned narcisist were engaging in what conservatives do best: pulling stuff out of their ass.

Which is why when they put out their hands they are always **** stained!!!!!

...
Second, and more importantly, it's not even relevant. Even assuming it's completely true, that doesn't demonstrate in any way that Obama is not a thin-skinned narcissist.....
You can't be serious. The Obamas couldn't be any further from being thin-skinned narcissists. Perhaps you have an alternate universe in mind?

It's a mystery to me that someone who uses so much self-deprecating humour, and treats everybody like a friend whom they'd like to have a beer with, could ever be described as as a thin-skinned narcissist. Disagree with his policies if you want, sure, but calling him that is just a lie.

I was able to catch about the first half of Obama's convention speech this morning. He led with a joke about how his kids like to point out how old he's gotten and how Michelle doesn't look any older at all.

GOD! How could he be any more narcissistic?

You know who is NOT a thin-skinned narcissist? Bill O'Reilly. He correctly views criticisms over his slave comments as an organized outraged by people who "want me dead. Literally dead."

Remember when Obama received the most death threats out of any incoming president? He hadn't even done anything yet, that's how bad he was.

Not that I necessarily disbelieve you, but source?

eta: nm. I found it. Poor, poor Bill O'Reilly.

This "Couch Commander" skit has to be the funniest video ever made by a sitting president who's being accused of thin-skinned narcissism:

I just had to watch this again. John Boehner is a hoot. "You know, McDonald's serves breakfast all day long."

"Michelle will be in spin class, so she'll never know"

That is really funny.

The thing is, Boehner is a pretty good politician as well, and I have to say that even though I strongly disagree with many of his policy positions. His problem as speaker is that he was dealing with a pack of radicals who went straight to hostage-taking and...theatricality and self-deception. If anything, I considered him to be far more dangerous than the goofballs that comprised the Tea Party for that exact reason, until Trump was nominated.

I contend and stand by it that the reason Boehner resigned is because the Pope made him feel guilty about what he was doing and he couldn't live with himself any more.

Recall that the Pope made him cry. It touched him.

This video shows that for him, it was politics, and not personal. I don't think you can say that about a lot of those he was speaking for in Congress

I know... bragging about having bagged some sort of smoking hot supermodel trophy wide. What kind of man would do such a thing!

I'm ok if just his mind gets lost in his brain and won't come back. Oh, wait, that already happened. Never mind!!!!

Besides, I don't want him dead, just hanging by his heels over a nice smoky fire fueled by poison ivy plants. It is educational!!!!!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
