NWO Kitty is a Sell Out!

Oh true, the postal service in the UK has been nutzered due to industrial Action (and not your non co-ordinated 5 minute Strikes either). was it going by regular mail, as they have had a load of Temp Agency Staff covering for them, and I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them the kenthieves

Oh Wait, I Am temp agency staff that performed sorting office cover, I wonder if I have a NWO Kitty T-Shirt in any of those packages that got redirected to my flat...

The profits from the US store is allowing me to send off a check for $50. I tried to keep the commission low so people could afford to buy stuff. I am sure the UK store has gotten more, as I believe the quality and range of their products is much better than Spreadshirt's. All those pennies may help one or more people make it out to TAM so we can all buy each other beverages (alcoholic or non, depending on your preferences). :)

Cool, very cool.

The UK store's products are indeed top notch. I really like the quality of the shirts they sell (they've got a sturdy feel to 'em), and the colors are nice (at least the one color I've seen :)).

As I said before, the only thing that could be better would be if they had an option to do screen printing. However, I'm sure that would drive the costs up (I believe the fixed setup costs are considerably higher with screen printing), and I don't really feel like paying $120 for a t-shirt.

Intelligence Analysis Center? Is that where they experiment on the aliens from Roswell?

Nah; it's where all the soopersekrit monitoring and analysis of every word everyone says or thinks goes on. I haven't seen it yet, but I think the computer chip control center is here. :D

There have been postal problems here, but the time involved seems to indicate lost rather than delayed.

Rolfe.

I'm pretty sure I ordered mine after you and they arrived a couple of weeks ago. You should have had them before the strikes started really. I'll go with lost.

Well, I've done everything I can to trace anything mislaid here at work, and nothing. It's not a big department, and in fact I help open the post more days than not. The mouse mat was placed on my desk even though I wasn't here the day it arrived. Nobody recalls anything else arriving for me, and everybody agrees it would have been put on my desk if it had. There's nothing lurking in any of the corners I've searched.

Must be a sinister plot.

It's amazing. Did you know we wear the same size?

I resent the email this morning and got a reply, saying that they would reprocess the order. This is good news!

I'm glad that they're sorting it out for your Rolfe.

To clarify, I can confirm if an order has been placed, but after that Comboutique takes customer cofnidentiality so seriiously that they won't tell me anything.

Maybe they know that I work for the NWO. ;)

So far the Uk store has made just under £50 in comission (a little over $100), hopefully more orders will come in (hint hint). I plan to keep the store up for a while yet, and if anyone is inetrested and has any requests I may even expand the product line.

This post is to commend Comboutique's service.

My order arrived safely today. Late, of course, but since the original obviously vanished into the maw of the Post Office, never to be heard of again, that was hardly their fault.

The bag is so cool I can barely describe it. I only wish I'd had the opportunity to take it on 4 BA flights! (If I see a cat with a gun on a plane....)

T-shirt, ditto.

Long-sleeved shirt fits better in some places than others, and the neckline and the sleeves are a bit wide, but actually I have it on now as it's warmer than the T-shirt I began the day with (-3C outside, and I put on a T-shirt, right....) and I like it fine.

The mug is a great size for glugging lots of tea/coffee, and unusually the logo is on the outside (for a right-handed drinker) so one's colleagues get an unobstructed view. The print has come out a little small on the mug though, and could be easier to read.

I'd love to see the faces of anyone who opens the lost package. As in-jokes go, this one is about as esoteric as they come.

Satisfied customer,

Rolfe.

Well, now, it may be completely uneconomic if you have to give one to Stripgenerator as well, but what I'd love (if they do them) is a hoodie.

It's too damn cold here to show off T-shirts (even the long sleeved variety), and I don't really like round necks anyway, I look like a plucked chicken. I have a nice light-grey hoodie I really like, but it is emblazoned with the words "University of Glasgow". This is a bit of a problem as this is University of Edinburgh territory, and it's like being a cat in a dog suit. I don't wear it except at weekends.

I saw some nice hoodies for sale on the cruise ship 2 weeks ago, but considering the organisation (or lack of it) is some quarters, I didn't fancy going around being a paying advert for Royal Carribbean.

NWO Kitty? Now that, I would wear.

Rolfe.

Oooooh, I'd buy a hoodie!

I didn't buy a mug, as I don't drink tea or coffee (I get my caffeine from sodas), but I'm debating buying a mousepad for work purposes. I think my coworkers might get a kick out of it.

If I made a hoodie It would have to be priced at £30.00 and i would need 5 orders to make it worthwhile. ( would not want to spend more money to send one to trip generator than it would make for the JREF).
If three more people are interested in a hoodie (or someone wants three hoodies) I will put the product up. They are available in a range of colors.
BTW Something cool I discovered about the UK shop, if you order a black T-shirt NWO kitty comes out white...

If you offer a hoodie I will undertake to buy one, and if you need one more to make the number and they come in more than one colour I will consider buying two.

Oh man thats awesome, I'm so getting the one that says fighting stupidity and paranoia.

Just a quick update, the latest quarter fom Spreadshirt came in last week, and NWO Kitty has raised another $82 for the JREF scholarship fund. Thanks to everyone who has purchased stuff from this and the Comboutique outlet (links in the OP). This helps people who would like to attend TAM 6 in Las Vegas, but cannot afford the registration fees.

Er, I mean, the money raised is used to buy canned tuna, or thumbscrews, I forget which.

I should point out for the fence sitters that are considering a purchase that the hoodies are really warm and comfy and the front pouch is just perfect for smuggling thermite into prospective targets keeping your hands warm on a cold windy day! :D

Anybody have the messenger bag? What's it like, and how big is it?

I really need a new bag. My current one, bought sometime in the late Middle Ages (in Krakow, Poland, almost next door to the Collegium Maius where Copernicus used to work!) is disintegrating because of the weight of thermite old age.

I'm wearing one of my two hoodies now, and I can confirm that it is warm and cosy and comfortable and practical. Also that the sleeves are a bit long but you can't have everything. Quality is excellent, and the dark colours wash well with no colour leaks. The motifs also wash and tumble dry no problem.

I bought a bag from Comboutique, and it's nice, handy size, good quality. Whoever it was who was having trouble, did you ever get your stuff from Comboutique?

Rolfe.
