They also do a podcast together: Dropping Names. I expect they will have a lot to say on the next episode.

That's what I had in mind, though there might be a days to weeks delay until a "new" episode where they can have a lengthy segment about it.
They'd talked of getting him on, which would be at odds with knowing of an ongoing diagnosis.

No doubt they've make public statements, I just haven't been online to come across them.

I was just thinking about him the day before he passed.

Had this idea of skit in my head of some agent on the BBC going on about "What happened to all the curly headed main men on TV? We used to have Tom Baker, Gareth Roberts, Colin Baker, Steven Pacey, Barry Andrews, William Katt! Somebody get me Marjoe Gortner on the line!"

Never heard of Marjoe Gortner, but we just lost another (one time) curly headed main man.

According to his Guardian obituary Stewart was bald by the time he was 20, so that must be a wig.

It think that's a syrup, apparently he was bald by his early 20s.
