They also do a podcast together: Dropping Names. I expect they will have a lot to say on the next episode.

That's what I had in mind, though there might be a days to weeks delay until a "new" episode where they can have a lengthy segment about it.
They'd talked of getting him on, which would be at odds with knowing of an ongoing diagnosis.

No doubt they've make public statements, I just haven't been online to come across them.
