Clarke is wrong, btw, about Mineta's sons working for United. He has two sons who are commercial pilots, but they don't work for United. That's another instance of Clarke being a little clumsy with facts.

Clarke also claims Myers spoke about a "Vigilant Warrior" exercise, and speculated it was a "live fly" "red team" (OPFOR) for "Vigilant Guardian".

This is of course totally false as Vigilant Guardian is a CPX and therefore doesn't have OPFOR, and "Vigilant Warrior" conflicts with NORAD exercise naming regulations.

And as I've already pointed out, it is impossible for Clarke to have had a teleconference with General Myers before 0928, as he claims.

Please point out any inconsistencies between any two or more of Cheney's accounts of that day. Please cite Cheney's actual words and not what someone says Cheney said. Thank you.
