Noah's Ark found?

I have personal messages from Radrook and 154 to the effect that genetic drift pointing back to Africa (rather than Ararat) is inconclusive, since scientists change their minds

ok I'd love to see them substantiate that claim, as far as I know scientists have always said mankind evolved in Africa. thats never changed. so is this another faith sponsored lie or just a huge misunderstanding because once again they dont have a clue what theyre talking about ?

Like they came from a rock by accident.

You know, not understanding science is one thing, but willfully ignoring it and misrepresenting it is another.

Please learn what science claims about the origins and evolution of life before making a fool out of yourself.

Satan doesn't care if you believe in him, only that you not believe and serve God.

That may be true, but only if he exists.

I respond to your posts in a civil manner and am ignored. The people who produce snide or insulting comments get responses.
Was that snide? Well I suppose. In my defense, I tried engaging 154 in a civil manner a number of times and never got any response.

Yep, they sure can.

Like they came from a rock by accident.

Do you mean to say you believe that widely accepted scientific opinion regarding abiogenesis is that we "came from a rock by accident"?

If so, then it's obvious that you reject scientific thinking because you completely misapprehend it. Abiogenesis is a complex event involving the observable laws of thermodynamics, and the interaction among organic compounds over millions of years.

If not, then your typically cryptic and elusive response has served only to confuse matters rather than clarify them.

So presumably then you have some evidence that Satan exists, as hes not part of the same "faith" that you claim excuses you from having any evidence for the existence of God.
So lets see it, or are you for some reason just believing in Satan as well without any evidence just because some iron age stories told you to

also, any idea why Satan doesn't exist anywhere on any text until after the babylonian exile ?
Don't worry, he is very pleased with your position. He will not trouble you.. for now.

I would love to meet people who think we came from a rock, by all means, invite them here.
You do not?

Was that snide? Well I suppose. In my defense, I tried engaging 154 in a civil manner a number of times and never got any response.
If I post something and get six different responses, at different times, and answered as I saw fit, and then tried to follow and respond again, I'd simply be buried in the progression. And I do pick and choose amongst the rhetoric.

Abiogenesis is a complex event involving the observable laws of thermodynamics, and the interaction among organic compounds over millions of years.
Please give me your best Cliff's Notes version.

so in other words you don't have any evidence for the existence of Satan either

why did I think that would be the case

would you like to see my evidence for the non existence of Satan ?
or would that damage your delusion too much for you to cope with ?

and I asked you a direct question
any idea why Satan doesn't exist anywhere on any text until after the babylonian exile ?
care to answer it or are we going for the complete credibility busting cop out again ?
:p

The flames are appropriate.

And look at that little synchronicity. Your last post for 154 was 4,154.

Jesus Christ referred to him by name.

I'll take His word and credibility over yours.

So you have no answer and youre not interested in evidence
yup, there you go again, proving to everyone here just how deeply ignorant your beliefs are

Yep, they sure can [believe just about anything].

Like they came from a rock by accident.

Okay, I know it's just meant to be a snide comment, not really worth discussing...

But most people are responding to the "rock by accident" part. To me, the main problem is with the "believe."

"Believe" in the Christian sense generally means something like "believe it to be true regardless of how little evidence there is or how much evidence there is to the contrary," as we can see right here in this thread.

"Believe" in the scientific sense generally means something like "consider it to be the most likely explanation until better evidence becomes known or a more apt explanation is advanced."

Apples and oranges. I think religious people sometimes don't get the difference. They talk as if the scientific method is just a way of worshipping a different set of immutable truths and don't get that it's a different mindset, where it's praiseworthy to change what you think is true rather than to keep the faith at all costs.

Ask him if he understands the difference between faith based belief and evidence based knowledge. He has studiously avoided answering that damning question many times. I didn't think it would be that big of a challenge to answer.

Nope, it is the absolute and most-distilled simple truth of the faith of the Faithless, even though they go to the greatest lengths to buttress it.

I've answered it a dozen times. Like it is a difficult or complicated question. And like I give a damn if it is not to your satisfaction.

I think I'm asking you the wrong question then.

Do you understand the difference between an answer to a question and a non-answer dodge?

I've asked him several questions too, he always avoids answering them because he knows answering them would prove he was delusional, like most schizophrenics he exists in his own little world where the only valid evidence is that of his inner belief system. Its a pity he can't see that everyone around him thinks hes a nut but there ya go
:D

ETA, look at that, we said the same thing about him and posted it at the same time, guess that proves something

I dodge nothing, not even the assumed presupposition of your arrogant condescension as evidenced in your question.

And then he posts more evidence of his evasions and dodging. I think he's unable to answer any questions that force him to examine his mental gymnastics. Is that typical?

I am not the one here who is delusional and who repeatedly avoids answering direct questions and who isn't interested in any evidence that doesn't support his delusions

thats you

and you won't feel better until you get to a doctor and get medicated. Youre way past the point of usual religious ignorance 154,

heres a direct question youd never answer truthfully

have you ever been diagnosed with a mental illness ?
:D

for schizophrenia yes, its very typical, religious mania is one of the usual symptoms and I am greatly experienced with it. One of my ex girlfriends had it, it caused her to believe she was the Messiah, last time I heard from her was when they carted her off to the nuthouse. She was always very confident that she could prove her claim as there is apparently a book which contains religious quotes that are easy to take out of context, only fools themselves though, they can never see that
