Palin will in all likelihood, be a disaster for REPs. You can go on all you want about the "rise" of the Tea Party, but come 2012, if the choice DEMs and MODERATES have is between Obama and Palin, Obama will win.

The alternative for most, is too scary.

Palin is at an age where she will be around for a while so if does not nod this time she has to wait until next time unless she is bored with the idea.

I'm not so sure. Politics is notoriously unforgiving of someone who has lost an election. Just as McCain will never again be seriously considered for a national office, part of that loss in 2008 will hinder Palin's ability to get a nomination in the future.

They will go with Romney, i am guessing. Given the economic woes, who better to win over the low information voter then a self made millionaire.

no, I am not disagreeing, but I am stating that, just like any other group, we tend to react to negative stimuli more than positive. I am saying that active anti-gay behavior from the Reps is far more likely to cause us to coalesce into a unified voting bloc than anything the Dems can do
