Merged New telepathy test: which number did I write ?

Not to mention that rcfieldz was, as usual, simply trolling and didn't even take part in the alleged test.

I received no telepathic message from Michael. No surprise there, so I answered 42 just for the fun of it. That was hit too, apparently.

A typo, brought on by the side effects of my new medication for chronic leukemia. Never mind, upwards and onwards! The point still stands, can Dan O spot the flaw?

I would expect a psychic to be more sensitive.

You call that gibberish an explanation?

''Like I did for a previous test done on Yahoo! Answers (see this thread: http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/showthread.php?t=237268 ), I have studied each of the 13 valid answers to this test, and I have given to each a "credibility rating" (CR) between -10 and +10. Credible answers (i.e. those with a positive CR) are ideally kind and smart, while non-credible answers (which get a negative CR), are those which do not sound serious, sincere and reliable. Reasons why an answer may not be credible are:
• It is too aggressive.
• It contains one or several incorrect statements.
• It is odd or bizarre.
• The answerer says that his/her answer is not related to telepathy.
• The answer contains a very large number of spelling or syntaxic errors.''

Translation: I just ignored the answers that did not fit into my fantasy.

Syntaxic? You ignored all the answers that contained a grammatical error? Did you count the correct guesses that included a grammatical error as a hit?

So the only 'kind and smart' answers were the ones that guessed your number? There is a reason why some people are kind to you.

I am now broadcasting a number between 1 and 10. I will broadcast at ten minute intervals for the next twelve hours. You will all receive this number because I am telepathic. Please post the number you receive here. If you do not post the number that I am broadcasting then I will assume that you are lying and count it as a hit. I wonder if Don can spot the flaw here? My six year old grandson spotted it straight away.

Well? Post your numbers so I can call the people who posted the wrong number mendacious.

I have done three tests so far on this forum, and the target numbers were, respectively, "2", "4" and "2". In my recollection is correct, you gave no answer in the first and third test, but, in the second one (whose correct answer was a "4"), you replied:
, and you added later:
I picked 42 earlier on. The million is mine !
You also complained because you felt you had to wait too long before the correct answer was given. "42" was obviously closely related to the correct answer "4", as 4 is the first digit of 42.
So, it would seem that you too, dafydd, in spite of your numerous attacks, you are "telepathic" (you can perceive my numbers). Also, you apparently participated in that test with some degree of honesty. You could have completely lied (it's obviously very easy), but apparently you did not completely lie, you displayed some degree of honesty. My tests are designed for people like that, who apparently often don't want to fully tell the truth, but who often don't want to be completely dishonest and derail the test either.

No. I am not telepathic and I did not receive your numbers. Get medical help, this is not a joke, I really mean it and I don't think that we should indulge you in your fantasy any more. If you really are hearing voices that tell you to kill yourself, then please get help. I can PM you the number of Dr. Baecken at Gent University hospital. He helped a friend of mine who was having similar problems.

42 equals 4, disregard the 2 its only there as a distraction.

in a related note 431132211241 equals 1 because it appears the most times.

When you hear people who tell you to kill yourself "in your head", using telepathy (not the telephone), it's really more a problem for the police and the justice system, than for physicians (in my opinion, at least).

If you are being serious then get help now. I have nothing more to say to you.

No. It is definately a matter for a doctor. Telephones would be a police matter. You are not qualified to determine if you are telepathic or having a mental health issue. Speak to somebody who is for the sake of your family if not your experiments.

Otherwise I may be seeing him on the national news at some time in the future. I console myself with the thought that he may just be joking.

In fact, I think that just the testing I have done on this forum did provide some rather convincing evidence in favor of my telepathy hypothesis.

Hmmm. That is an interesting claim. Do you really think that? Well, let's look at some more of your post.

But, unfortunately, you (plural) seem to be unwilling to accept this evidence, and have a tendency to constantly invent false pretexts to dismiss my conclusions (probably because the conclusion that I am "telepathic" is not the conclusion that many of you here "like" the most), even though this conclusion was only made possible by the quality of your answers in my tests.

That is quite aggressive. Using the Michel H. system, this means your initial claim has a credibility rating of -9. This means you are lying when you say you think your tests support the idea you have telepathy.

Michel, would you like to explain to Michel how your credibility system demonstrates Michel is lying?

Go get help right now. There is no excuse for not doing so. You know full well you are putting people in danger. You can't blame any action you take on your illness, when you are making a choice, right now, to not seek treatment.
