You're starting to look kind of politically insightful.

I just went with the polls. Usually they are right (they were wrong about the Democrats this time, but I think it's because a lot of people changed their mind at the eleventh hour after the surveys were over).

Exit polls say women backed Clinton. Maybe there was a "Caucus effect" that worked against Clinton in Iowa. Or, maybe this was a backlash against what women perceived as sexist overblown media coverage of Clinton's "choking up moment." Or a little bit of both.

bloomin nora....

well done Brainster, Puppycow, Firestone, T.A.M and Old Tiger Cub.....

I also suspect there was some last minute vote changing. In the end it comes down for a lot of Dems to who has the best chance of winning in November, and I think there is a lot of skepticism about whether a Afro American can win. Sad,but true, and possibly justified. A lot of people who would deny it to kingdom come will simply not vote for a Afro American to be President. Sad but true, and politics is a cold, cold, business.

but the same could be said about a female president, so how did Hillary do it?

TAM:)
