UVM.. mmm, no. Much as I love Vermont, I was very dissapointed in that school. And expensive too.

Oh Merc, I did a wonderful defense of UNH to a mother who was choosing between UVM and UNH. I did the whole thing about the school treating undergrads like grad students as far as opportunities to DO things goes. I went on and on...and the idiot mother STILL decided on UVM as "they have a better ski program". huh? The weird part is that the kid is a really poor at skiing. But the parents are ski crazy and somehow think they should send their very academic child to the school of THEIR dreams.

UNH rocks people. It shouldn't even be given the nick "state school" because as far as academics go, it isn't...(that wasn't very clear).

To hell with it! We're coming! I haven't needed any pain medication in 24 hours, and all I have to do is watch what and how I eat. Temperature seems to be the big issue; hot coffee is out, cold beer is in.

Be on the road in an hour or so.
 
I'm in Boston now..fixing a damn computer and it's not going well. I'll be there tomorrow with beer, chips and salsa, and Ben & Jerry's.

And beer. And..weird stuff that either after shave or an alcoholic beverage. Heck, what's the difference?

kitty, it was horrid. I was forced to walk many miles in the dark and on rocks in boots with 4 inch heals. This was after I was force fed this thing that had these buggy eyes, was bright red and had HUGE claws. I thought it was going to try and eat me. I was given a dinky little two prong plastic thingy and a nut cracker to eat with. A real challenge I assure you.

Then there was this girl that made me walk on rocks and immersed my feet in ice cold water. She said it was FUN!

The only saving grace was this very beautiful and sweet lady from England. She was very nice. I really hope I get to meet her again.

There were a bunch of other people that were there too. I guess they were ok.;)

The worst part was this guy who showed up with some warped thing he called an instrument. He and the chick that made me put my feet in the cold water subjected us to something they called 'music'. Very painful to listen to.


You were lucky you missed it.

Oh damn! I can't believe I missed all that misery! :( Especially the clawed thingies with the bulging eyes -- they sound horrid! On the other hand, as lousy as stomach flu is, at least it saved me from all the pain and suffering!

(P.S. Damn I'm pissed off!) :mad:
 
Bizarre jigsaw puzzle.....but Boo's boots (hmmmm, is there a message here?) were nice- very classy. And the DVD- I am SURE that wasn't anything by Dawkins....
