You should watch it again without your preconceived notions of how people would/should react in high stress situations.

It is curious that KreeL's only "evidence" for his half-baked idea that the Naudet brothers were "in on it" is that they were in the right place at the right time. How many other people throughout history could this apply to? A lot...

No. I am unlike you in that regard. But premonition being evident in the film, wouldn't that clue you in that the coincidences were a farce also? Being that you seem to understand logic, I was wanting your take on that aspect.

OK, so you agree it's possible the Naudets just found themselves at the right spot at the right time, by a chain of unrelated circumstances?
 
Not a chance. That's wasn't just one coincidence. That was dozens of coincidences rolled up into one unbelievable package. I believe in the old thread given here by a poster earlier that Mr(s) Leslie and Ubinger reported 60+(?) coincidences?

Far too many to even be considered 'luck' by a rational human being. How many coincidences does it take for you to doubt the validity of any story?
 
You got to ask yourself these questions:


How many people owned a video camera in the New York City area in september 2001?
How many of those people were in and around Manhattan on september 11?
How many of those people were using their camera that morning?
How many of those people would raise their camera to the sky when an unfamiliar loud jet engine roar would pass by?
How many of those people would catch the World Trade Center towers in their camera's field of vision?
How many of them would catch the impact?


I think it's statistically quite possible the Naudets would catch the event as they did, without involving them in a conspiracy.

You should try to count all the coincidences that happen in one regular day. I'm sure you'd stop counting after 160.

Its beyond that. Even based on the numbers, the odds are high, but you have to factor into all of this that THESE GUYS WERE FILMMAKERS. They were documentary filmmakers, making a film about rookie firemen, and then while out filming other things the attacks unfold. As I have said before, if I were them, I would have had my camera rolling nonstop, and fixed upon everything I felt relevant, especially the WTCs.

There is NOTHING out of the ordinary wrt what the Naudet brothers were able to capture...NOTHING.
