Name the New Pope Thread

Peter II would be too presumptuous, and make the prophecy believers get out of hand, but what could a Pope do if he really wanted to emphasize the legacy of Peter, without actually calling himself Peter?

How about Peter's successor?

Well, that could be appropriate, given how religion is a security blanket that some people cling to long after they should have outgrown it.

Come on, spill it. I know that at least six or seven of the most active JREF forum members are actually archbishops, so how about giving us a little advance word?
 
At times such as this, while I'm watching the streaming video from Rome, waiting for the world to meet the new pope I want to say, Jesus died because he was weak and stupid.
 
Maybe they'll put an Argentinian Steak House in the Vatican. That would be cool since right now you can only get little wafers and some watery wine with no body to it to eat when you visit.
 
Commentators are already making the connection with St. Francis of Assisi, as a possible signal of intending to be a reformer.
