My argument against materialism

Sorry I had the impression that you were stating that there is only 'does' not 'is', I stand corrected.

I happen to think it is worthwhile addressing what things are, we disagree.

The QGP event either popped into existence from or in nowhere, or it occured in an already existing environment.

I would hazard a guess at the latter, as the former would present some odd questions.

So if we have a prexisting environment, surely this environment is the singularity, of "infinite" density?

I don't agree that the emergence from the singularity is necessarily nonsense, as it may only have the appearance of being infinite from our perspective.
If it is infinite, we do have a problem.

Do physicists claim QGP originated in a singularity? I am only asking a question after reading the BBE timeline.

Incidentally, you should be aware that quantum entanglement doesn't involve superluminal information transfer. Your web site suggests it 'appears' to.

I know what a singularity is, I am being presented with a cosmogenesis which is suggesting a singularity as the origin.

Should this suggestion be taken seriously?

Or is it a nonsense?

I studied that crap when I was younger,I believed it all,ley lines,pyramid power,aliens,the I Ching,secret Buddhist knowledge,the lot. With age came wisdom,coupled with the fact that I started to study science and actually did some research. No evidence.

I enjoy the discussion indeed, sir dafydd. Yet would request balance from the questioners posts with a few bits to process ending with periods. Materialism/idealism evolves in many forms.

Balance? Lots of questions and no answers does not sound like balance to me.Are we supposed to accept punshhh''s vague statements without question? Ill try you. Which forms would these be,and what bearing do they have on the real world?
