Because obviously drawing pictures of Muhammad is the equivalent of genocide. The thing is, nobody will be calling for the Pakistani embassy to be burnt, nobody will be making death threats. I want them to do it because then they'll show the world what idiots they are. Although I guess the media will ignore it, unlike Draw Mohamed Day, for fear of being called Islamophobic.

Look deeper. They aren't making fun of the Holocost, they are saying it never happened, or was different (I.E. the Jew's fault) than history says it happened. They are CTist and lying scum who want to use propaganda to justify their hatred of Israel, but more accurately, heathens and atheists who they say commit the worst genocide.

yeah, i saw all that. its mostly holocaust-denial. pretty pathetic.

but...its also good. it shows who we are dealing with. if they said something like: "we know the holocaust was a horrible tragedy, but we feel that we must show that free speech can indeed be very hurtful".

Of course, what I'm wondering about is that since the muslims might be getting savvier and might be willing to use non-violent acts to go about their agenda, how long will it be before protest (of any kind) is considered an act of terrorism...

If they were mocking the holocaust, I could actually see it as a legitimate response: "you make fun of what I find it shocking to laugh at, I'll do the same to you".

The problem is, they're not mocking the holocaust. They're seriously claiming it's a hoax and never happened.

But I guess holocaust denial is still a step up from blowing people up in random rage, if only a tiny one.

Still waiting for the death threats, but if it were for our secular Western governments ruling the roost I'm sure that I that American Christian fundies would be screaming for my death for insulting their precious "Messiah." That's probably why they're so keen on eroding secular government in favor of their "Christian nation" myth.
