One's actions serve as an indication of what one actually believes.
If I publicly state that I believe fire safety is very important, but I am later caught disabling the smoke detectors in several buildings, you have good evidence that I am opposed to fire safety.
Musk has stated that he supports free speech. However, he has been caught attempting to use the government to suppress speech he does not like. We have good evidence that he is opposed to free speech.

Musk's words that position him as a supporter of "absolute Free Speech" are indeed one thing and are worthy of consideration. Like any words, though, they should not be blindly accepted as truth. Musk's actions are largely not in line with his stated claims and that certainly should weigh more heavily than his words.
Musk's actions seem to position him as a supporter of controlled speech - specifically, speech that is constrained and amplified according to his arbitrary whims and personal interests. His positioning of himself as a supporter of "absolute Free Speech" is therefore either a false conceit or a calculated lie. In either case, it's dangerous to trust him when he says that he supports Free Speech, because he has demonstrated that what he supports is a caricature of Free Speech, not Free Speech.

Yes there are, they are civil courts, like there are Jewish courts, it’s part of a freedom we’ve had for centuries, you can agree to binding arbitration with a given body. Now of course these courts can’t act in a way that would breach UK law, so for example whilst they can grant divorces or annulments it is only the religious marriage that they can rule on. IIRC, making all illegals into legal voters and then effectively starting anew on much better footing was part of a major bipartisan immigration reform push a couple decades ago. It was killed largely by the more agriculturally based states, though. It's not like it's a secret that agriculture in the US benefits immensely from the labor of illegals and that such is probably the number 1 driver behind illegal immigration and it's not like a secret that the agricultural industry doesn't like paying them a living wage. Making all illegals into legals and starting anew honestly does sound like it's not a bad idea and would likely benefit the US quite a bit, overall.
The permanent one-party and deep socialist parts are eye-rolling, of course.

Same in the US. You can tell them to go to hell unless you have signed an binding arbritration agreement. And they have NO criminal jurisdiction whatsoever.
Same applies I beleive, to several Christian churches which have "courts" to rule on religioius law.

I mean everyone who has come to the USA, and has found gainful employment, and has no felony convictions. Should indeed be granted a path to citizenship. Or we need to deport them all and suffer the 30% or more inflation rates from the resulting rise in wages and labor shortages for the next few years. Am I a crazy socialist for saying this
ETA: of course most of the illegal migrant workers are in red states, and them suddenly being able to vote scares the **** out of the GoP. Yet they want their cheap labor.

And keeping them illegal keeps them scared which keeps them cheap.
As long as enforcement is lax, it's a win/win for the GOP, a plentiful source of cheap labour AND a campaigning issue they can make mileage out of.

They're OK because the CoE is nominally Christian and most of those involved are white.
Sharia courts are scary because the participants are Muslim and most of those involved are non-white.
As usual, it's nothing more than a fear of "others".
