I only reply cos you run this show, and make a considerable effort. I know absolutely nothing about nazis on X, zilch nada. I hit the X button on my phone panel and see what has come up over night, I note that many people whose views I agree with like current X because they are not dialling in with anxiety they have been banned over night, in contrast with their pre Musk Twitter experience. I have no such anxiety as I am read only. I will find an appropriate thread to expand on this as my antennae are woefully inadequate on this thread.
You are way over thinking my views and activity, I have no idea why.
I am personally delighted Musk bought the cursed thing, as he is a self proclaimed free speech dude, as are my lapsed left wing friends.

I believe we are dealing with something akin to the duck rabbit visual confusion. Musk is obviously more complex than he is wicked. He may be both, but the latter is not how he prays to be in the morning.
I don't even consider myself a shocker of a human being. Most people I know are glad they are not looking for jobs or tenure, they would have not the remotest idea how to deal with the young women in control of the world. Elon Musk has hit escape velocity, and even then they have painted horns on him.

I have spent much of my life dealing with a number of Republicans that are generous, intelligent, hard-working, and generally praiseworthy. When it comes to politics, some of these otherwise quite intelligent, praise-worthy people show every sign of just turning off their brains, losing their integrity, and supporting horrors when it comes to what they argue and the arguments that they choose. To Godwin things just a little, even Hitler wasn't some avatar of pure wickedness. So, forgive me when I find the quoted to be of no consequence at all and largely irrelevant to what I actually said, except as a means for you to create either a strawman, a reason to try to dismiss what I said without real consideration, or both. To be clear, at no point did I intend what I said to be a claim that either you or Musk have no redeeming value, but the truth of what I actually did say does seem to be rather manifest, given your, Musk's, and the national Republican Party's actual words and actions.

Samson, I really have no idea if you are writing in this weird cryptic way on purpose or if you are simply not that good at expressing your thoughts in a way that's intelligible for others.
If you choose to be cryptic then you cannot really blame people if they misinterpret what you are saying.
Do you really believe that "young women" as a group rule the world? Do you mean that the world is in fact a matriarchy?
If this is true, then isn't it somewhat at odds with your other claims about transwomen invading their spaces?

(Another headscratcher for me is how some of the new right-wing inspired by people like Jordan Peterson seem to rail against the likes of Michel Foucault and post-modernists while adopting the same slippery way of using language that is difficult if not impossible to pin down).

I expect it means that young women are no longer entirely excluded from the class of decision-makers as they once were. They have some actual political power nowadays (probably not more than their share of the population), and it is no longer entirely in the hands of men.

In my entire working life, I've never had a problem with 'young women in control of the world.' Often, in the latter half of my working life I've had female supervisors and managers, all of whom went out of their way to ensure that I had meaningful, challenging, work, and active social life, and opportunities for training and advancement. It's hard to generalise, but I'd suggest that they were slightly more caring about their workers than the male managers I'd worked with. (But probably too close to call).
The only time I saw even the slightest glitch, was back in the early 1980's when I was working as a 'settlement clerk'. I won a position with a bank in their settlements department, and they decided that it could be problematic, as I'd be the only male in a 100 person clerical group. In hindsight, they were probably right.
This makes me think that Samson's world of bad things only exists in his head.
