He is wrong because it isn't known why it was handed over or what the intended use for it. For example, it could just be for improved Ukrainian propaganda targeting efforts in the future. It could be he found it funny and shared with a friend. It could be to help Russian coordinate their election interference. You don't know.

It would the the returned thing that would make it illegal, though, and it would be illegal to give anything, not just polling data, in return for whatever that illegal thing was. As far as I know, there are no restrictions on who you can distribute something like polling data to. It's not controlled information, and rightly so.

No, if the report clears Trump and associates, then tune into mainstream media and it won't take long... I can see the chyron on MSNBC..."Do the Russians have something on Mueller"...

It's evidence of conspiracy is it not? I mean seriously. Why do you think Manafort is delivering polling information to Russians? You actually believe it is meaningless?

You're like the lone holdout juror who says after finding out that the murder suspect late night run to purchase a shovel, an axe and plastic garbage bags that the suspect wasn't doing anything illegal.

Well the problems a "Well it's not... technically illegal" sort of does matter when we're talking... well legality. Less so when we're talking politics.

However, you claimed I have a conspiracy theory.

My only confusion is in regard to what conspiracy theory you are alleging that I have.

So far, anyway, I'm only disappointed in Barr's letter. Instead of getting clarity on what Mueller found and didn't find that might dispel justifiable suspicions, we're being told that nobody is getting indicted so just forget about it. Oh, we're also being told that there never were any justifiable suspicions in the first place, so anybody who said that is an enemy of the people, and Trump will be looking into that, #MAGA.

That kind of speculation is reserved solely for theorizing why Clinton wasn't prosecuted, in which case it's just good old-fashioned critical thinking.

Speculation about the suspicious behavior of the numerous criminals in Trump's inner circle is just wacky conspiracy theory nonsense.
