As much as I despise Trump, I did not see him make a threat to freeze all legislation until the Investigations are stopped. If he had, that would have been the biggest thing to come out of the speech.
IMHO even Trump, as stupid as he is, knows better then to try to pull that off.

My opinion: Trump is used to being able to threaten people all the time, it's his nature. He probably knows threatening to freeze legislation isn't likely something he can actually do just like he keeps threatening to declare a border emergency but hasn't done it yet. For that he's simply used to getting his way, no one tells him no.

It's like some of his lies he knows he's not getting away with, he pretends he is until it fades from the news cycle.

It's also a common dog-whistle among the crazier elements of the alt-right. Because RED pill, geddit? And also because they live in a completely different reality which has frigid women and snarling minorities and those aren't in any way just a reaction to them being human turds floating in the shallow end of the gene pool.

As much as I'd like to believe that this criminal and traitor will face justice, we've got tens of millions of people in this country will think this is Fake News and part of the media conspiracy to punish Trump, who will be ignorant of it because they don't read 2 pages of things let alone 285, are still hung up about Hillary and her emails.

Subject for discussion: Suppose Trump's tax returns are made public. Then what?

The Trump Organization is an LLC that owns or controls literally hundreds of other LLCS and various shadow companies. All of them would have ways of shielding the actual identities of whoever is paying or lending Trump money or conducting other business with him. So once you get the returns, how do you untangle all the threads that they might reveal, and what would it take for the average Trumpian to understand why it all matters?

I believe that the Trump Organisation is actually a Closely Held Corporation, and as such there are some things that aren't the same as normal LLCs, including Majority Shareholder Liability. This means that because Trump has a majority holding in the company, and can basically have the company do whatever he likes, he also has liability for the company.

There are more rules about how the company is treated, for instance if you use the company as your personal piggy bank then as far as the IRS rules go, you and the company are the same entity. Considering how he treated his Charity, how do you think he treated his company?

Trump is an idiot who believes he's clever. He has no idea how stupid he's been but now he's going to find out it's just that no one was looking. Now they are.
