This is proof? There are also. etc ;)
On November 2, 2016—the day True Pundit threatened to leak fake NYPD-held Clinton emails if Comey didn't indict Clinton—ex-FBI asset Doug Hagmann told Alex Jones that Trump advisor "Rudy Giuliani is behind this information coming from the NYPD."

JUST IN: @GStephanopoulos: "Any chance you'll cooperate with special counsel Robert Mueller if he asks?"

Roger Stone: "That's a question I'll have to determine after my attorneys have some discussion ... I would certainly testify honestly" https://abcn.ws/2G0UERP

Video embedded in tweet.

Already backtracking from his former position somewhat. So, given that Stone's friends are starting to say they'll testify against him if needed to, and that Trump & co are already working to distance themselves from Stone (stage 1 of throwing him under the bus), my prediction is that Stone will flip.

He was publicising the leaks, and it was the publicity they had which caused Horowitz to decide that they needed to make a public announcement about the investigation. There are also indications he was the driving force behind the leaks

I knew it! You got that ******* nonsense from Seth Abramson! You said it came from NY FBI, and then cite some nonsense that it came from the NYPD!

hahahaha! That totally made my day!

Ya see, it was the way you tell it

The truth of the matter is that two of the people who sat on the information (while using FBI equipment to cover up their tawdry affair) became part of Mueller's initial team

I know you’re not a lawyer, but you should really look into becoming one.

People would pay tens of thousands just to have you not be their advocate.

Alternate theory.

Is it at all possible that Rudy Giuliani -- America's Mayor, the man who successfully prosecuted Mafia Dons in the 1980s, then went on to put Ivan Boesky and Michael Milken in prison -- is it conceivable he is secretly repulsed by the Poor Little Rich Boy and is practicing passive-aggression? Deliberately greasing the skids under Donnie with the aim of seeing him wind up serving a sentence in a white-collar prison, a disgraced former U.S. president?

I lived in New York City when Rudy was our Mayor. He's a complicated guy. I'm not really sure I buy his bumbling senior citizen lawyer routine. One thing I learned about Giuliani, he always has ulterior motives.

I can understand why you wouldn't. There was a time that Giuliani seemed more than capable and competent. That said, I think we have been seeing him degrade for the last two decades. I thought he looked like a fool when he was mayor.

There was a time when Trump seemed to make sense too. If you read statements that Trump made in the 90s, they certainly were more coherent than he has been in the last 3 years.

Fascinating. Rather than address the facts I posted, you posted some odd little non sequitur that what was what? Supposed to hurt the big dog's feelings?

That is fantastic

Sure, I mean, Mueller's indicted many individuals, some of which have been found guilty, and is digging ever deeper, ever closer to Trump's inner circle, now even striking at Stone, but that doesn't mean anything. It's all procedural perjury trap nothingburger witch hunt lock her up grifters.

I seriously doubt he'll even be given the option. Let it all come out in court.

Stone has so little credibility, I doubt Mueller would need or want his testimony against anyone.
Indeed, and he seems peculiarly inept at keeping things hidden anyway. Not at all someone I'd choose as a co-conspirator.

It would be amusing to hear him complain about not being offered a plea deal like everybody else. :)

Here is what Peter Zeidenberg, a former federal prosecutor and deputy special counsel in the prosecution of Scooter Libby had to say about the possibility of Mueller working with Stone.

Finally, do not expect to see Special Counsel Robert Mueller make any attempt to flip Stone and have him cooperate. A defendant like Stone is far more trouble than he is worth to a prosecutor. Stone is too untrustworthy for a prosecutor to ever rely upon. He has told so many documented lies, and bragged so often about his dirty tricks, that he simply has too much baggage to deal with even if here to want to cooperate—which seems unlikely in any event. Mueller, I suspect, would not even be willing to engage in a preliminary debrief with Stone to just test the possibility of cooperation out of concern that Stone would immediately go on television with his pals at Fox News to decry Mueller’s Gestapo tactics.

In short, Mueller does not need Stone

Just want to mention that I loved the very audible “ Lock him up!” chants as Stone gave his little press address

Stone and Trump. Two of the sleaziest dirtbags to ever come down the pike. And they have been joined at the hip for decades. Neither would hesitate to lie or cheat or do anything unsavory at a seconds notice. Trump has a long history with porn stars and prostitutes and sleeping around. Stone was with the Mahattan Madam when he was arrested the other night. He was fired from Bob Dole's campaign for taking out swinger's ads.

I hope they do a strip and cavity search while they're at it and put him in a cell with Bubba. Pretty boy like Roger would make a nice bitch.

Cool, cool....

If he tells Mueller how to find specific damning documents, recordings, etc., then he'd be useful to the investigation even he was never called to testify. And I agree that Mueller would probably be very hesitant to put Stone on the stand.

That said, the point that Zeidenberg made (as quoted by acbytesla) is also valid; Stone may well be a risky asset to have even if he's just asked to provide background data.

My personal view is that Stone is one of the real top villains of the last few decades of American politics and he should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

You just can't makes this stuff up. I mean, who would believe it? Not you, I'm sure.

I bet you think Trump is a virgin and he's been a born again Christian his entire adult life. That 'Grab them by the pussy' is actually the Third Commandment, right after Ivanka is doable and Trump is the God almighty and put no other gods before him.
