You seem to be hung up on his age. What is the relevance?

What is a "World Wide Grifter"? What is its relevance?

I have no problem at all with a man who deliberately lied to congress, committed both obstruction of justice and witness tampering being treated like a common criminal.

Out of curiosity TBD, do you think that some people should be above the law and get free passes to commit crimes?

Well you answered on of my 3 questions. Better than what Trump usually manages. I guess I have to settle for that.

Is your issue that they tipped CNN specifically, or that they tipped a news agency at all? Seems to me that letting the public see what is going on rather than keeping it secret is a good thing in the land of the free.

People noticed grand jury activity yesterday and staked out Stone's house.
I mean, there is no way someone could have figured out that the grand jury have a special session where Corsi's stepson testifies could possibly lead to Roger Stone. You would have to be a genius to connect those dots. Or maybe a competent journalist.

But no, you go on with your conspiracy theory.

Maybe, maybe, except that we know that the local press also closely watches the grand jury docket, and CNN were the only ones out there? At 5 am? To witness a grossly excessive demonstration of force of a non-violent offender?

You just swallowed CNN’s cover story hook line and sinker.
 
As loathe as I am to agree with TBD (and I give a preemptive apology to everyone for whatever wild conspiratorial tangent he spins this off into) I do question the necessity of sending a SWAT team type force to arrest a 66 year old politician at 6 in the morning.

This wasn't a story that was gonna end with Roger Stone taking Ivanka Trump hostage and demanding a chopper and a suitcase full of unmarked bills. He's a politician being brught up on political corruption type charges, not the Punisher. They probably could of at least started with just... asking him to turn himself in.

I try not to respond to TBD too often, but this simply cannot stand.

The word is "ensure". You mean "ensure", not "insure". Hence you mean "TEP".

That spelling mistake bothers me more than the fanciful conspiracy theory.

I can see why you and others say this, but there is always the point that the public does not have the detailed info the Mueller's team has. It may well have been a reasonable precaution.

I will ask you the same question I have asked TBD - what is the relevance of his age?

I think this is most likely. Is it known if CNN was the only news network there, or if they are just the one most people will go to?

It has been posted upthread that Fox is not reporting this at all. If true, for a supposedly "dominant" and "accurate" news network they really missed the boat on this one
