Perhaps bigoted against whites? After all in 2010 it is 95.5% Americans of European descent, with just 1.1% Americans of African descent.

Seems all the minorities figured that it wasn't worth staying there either.

Thanks. Somehow that bigotry against those of European descent escaped me. I know as someone of 100% white European ancestry (according to Ancestry.com), the bigotry I've suffered has greatly affected me. Recently, I've had to have "the talk" with my daughter (also 100% white) in case she gets stopped by the police. When will this bigotry end?!

Not to mention the fact that I, myself, at least according to ancestry, am mostly British.

Fergus Falls just sucks. The only decent thing to do is go to the lakes. Which you can do about 3 months out of the year before it's too cold again.

You're challenging us to find a conservative political principle that Comey declared and defended, and if we can't find that political principle, that means that Comey was political? Not finding one would only help show that Comey wasn't political, especially since he's a Republican. You've got it completely backwards.

Its right-wing reverse pretzelism - you declare the opposite of what is actually true and then double down on it when challenged.

Since 2017 he has gone on to say that the "The Republican Party has left me and many others" and also that over the Trump Campaign that he "came to the conclusion that these people don’t represent anything I believe in."

It is fairly obvious to any observer not wearing red blinkers that the once moderate conservative GOP has moved a long, long way right of where it used to sit.

Wow! The State Department said it has identified 30 Security Incidents involving current or former employees and their handling of Crooked Hillary Clinton’s Emails. @FoxNews This is really big. Never admitted before. Highly Classified Material. Will the Dems investigate this?

Only a few people showed up for the so-called Impeachment rallies over the weekend. The numbers were anemic, no spirit, no hope. More importantly, No Collusion, No Obstruction!

Thousands of people are already lined up in Orlando, some two days before tomorrow nights big Rally. Large Screens and food trucks will be there for those that can’t get into the 25,000 capacity arena. It will be a very exciting evening! Make America Great Again!

It’s simpler than that. Conservatives have been trained to discard any information that isn’t coming from a source actively promoting their ideology. Therefore, to be believable to a conservative you first and foremost need to prove that you are a conservative and that what you are saying conforms to conservative dogma. Any source that isn't actively promoting the conservative cause is deemed untrustworthy.

Thus "before I believe Comey isn't politically motivated, first prove to me that he is actively promoting conservative dogma" actually makes sense to conservatives because proving the source actively promoting conservative dogma It the very first test they apply to ANY information.

John Oliver had a bit the other day where Justin Amash (spelling might be wrong) had a town hall that people attended. He spoke out about Trump, the Mueller report, and the evidence contained within. Afterwards the media went and spoke to a few people, one of which was an older lady that openly said she listened to mostly conservative television\radio\news and literally had no idea there was anything negative in the Mueller report about Trump at all.

That's why I read Fox News, listened to Right, Left, and Center, and pay attention to right wing news sources. I never want to be that lady (or be a lady in general to be honest) that only exists in her echo chamber, then shows up and realizes that she's been spoon fed a bucket of **** for the last x amount of time.

That's scary stuff right there. Most of conservative America is completely ignorant to reality.

The sad part is that she likely went home, watched some more Fox News who explained to her why a Republican Congressman isn’t a good Conservative information source and it already back on the “The Muller Report exonerated Trump” bandwagon.

Weird question....how do we actually determine that Fox news is doing biased gatekeeping rather than appropriate gatekeeping and it turns out reality just has a conservative bias?

Does the following also work?

Liberals have been trained to discard any information that isn’t coming from a source actively promoting their ideology. Therefore, to be believable to a liberal you first and foremost need to prove that you are a liberal and that what you are saying conforms to liberal dogma. Any source that isn't actively promoting the liberal cause is deemed untrustworthy.”

My point is, I think what you’re describing is “confirmation bias”, and is hardly the exclusive realm of conservatives.

Confirmation bias certainly exists, and everyone is subject to it. But is there really a liberal information bubble? I know that some on the far, far right think CNN, NBC, ABC, and the like are promoting liberal ideology, but are they really?

The walls of the bubble might not be as thick, depending on what you're watching, but when watching various left-leaning sources such as MSNBC or The Grauniad I often have to brain-correct for some of the stuff they put in there that's more editorial than fact, or at least somewhat-twisted fact.

I think it works far more for conservatives than it does liberals. You only have to look at the subject of this thread to realise that; it doesn't matter what your political persuasion is, if you read the Mueller report with an open mind, you MUST come to the conclusion that...

a. The Trump campaign had a lot of help from the Russian Government, and actively encouraged that help.

b. Trump committed numerous acts of obstruction of justice

All the conservative talking points about no collusion, and there needing to be an underlying crime before there can be obstruction is the conservative pretzel logic, twisting the report's words, the underlying facts and themselves into a inside out in order to avoid the truth; that the Mueller Report is correct, and that Trump is a criminal president.

The Dems are very unhappy with the Mueller Report, so after almost 3 years, they want a Redo, or Do Over. This is extreme Presidential Harassment. They gave Crooked Hillary’s people complete Immunity, yet now they bring back Hope Hicks. Why aren’t the Dems looking at the.....

....33,000 Emails that Hillary and her lawyer deleted and acid washed AFTER GETTING A SUBPOENA FROM CONGRESS? That is real Obstruction that the Dems want no part of because their hearings are RIGGED and a disgrace to our Country!

Trump Tweets

If I didn’t have the Phony Witch Hunt going on for 3 years, and if the Fake News Media and their partner in Crime, the Democrats, would have played it straight, I would be way up in the Polls right now - with our Economy, winning by 20 points. But I’m winning anyway!

So sad that the Democrats are putting wonderful Hope Hicks through hell, for 3 years now, after total exoneration by Robert Mueller & the Mueller Report. They were unhappy with result so they want a Do Over. Very unfair & costly to her. Will it ever end? Why aren’t they.......

....asking Hillary Clinton why she deleted and acid washed her Emails AFTER getting a subpoena from Congress? Anybody else would be in jail for that, yet the Dems refuse to even bring it up. Rigged House Committee
