Is that the video clip where Hitler is convinced that the war is still, winnable? That he still has troops in the field and moves he can make, and he's ranting at his staff for not getting right on it? And his staff are just standing there in awkward silence, with looks of embarrassment on their faces? That video?

Because I think that video is a pretty good satirical summary of the current state of play. Regardless of which side of this particular slapfight you happen to be on.

Elijah Cummings' words in the press conference are powerful.

When a reporter started in with the question out of the reporter 101 handbook, "President Trump says he was exon—" Pelosi cut her off with "Oh come on, come on."

Yay Pelosi! Maybe more people asked questions like that one will start answering, "Oh come on."
