Mossad agent arrested in Hamas assassination case

Is it ok for Iran to go into Italy, use fake passports, and assassinate a possible member of a Kurdish terrorist group, without Italy's consent?

Iran is not a free nation, so, no.

ahh....

so only "free" nations, like the USA, Britain, and Israel, have the right to assassinate supposed terrorists in foreign lands without that nation's permission, or even letting that nation know in advcance of the operation, using fake foreign passports?

fascinating.

Pfft. Yeah, sorry. If it indeed were mossad agents involved, then they should've been running up and down the aisles of the airplane with a Israeli flags, through Dubai airport with Israeli flags with a pin of mossad to properly identify themselves as covert operatives.

Awesome. Never been done by the UK, US, or any EU country in the past as well. :footinmou No justification, but as it has been stated in a number of threads, forged passports is pretty standard.

Cowards sneak about on false passports belonging to real people.

3 countries, all friends to Israel, have kicked out diplomats. There is nothing like dumping in your own doorstep.

Interesting. Does such a policy go for just Israel or all other countries?

I don't understand giving a pass on assassination yet quibbling over using forged passports. Isn't that sort of like overlooking a bank robbery yet condemning the robber for double-parking his getaway car?

It's assassination. If you don't object to the assassination, then you shouldn't object to the methods of assassination.

Really? Because we're not just talking about the incidents we all new about on Gibraltar and so on, but revelations about the RUC and Loyalist connections which are just coming up now?

Don't get me wrong, I'm quite happy with us fighting the Provos on a "fire with fire" basis. But an awful lot of people in the US got very, very upset about it. And I just want us to establish a set of of common ground rules here.

Well, some of those Loyalist hits involved the petrol bombing of people's homes.

It's one thing to shoot terrorists in Gibraltar and cop a bit of the usual wailing from the usual quarters but burning kids alive with Molotov cocktails is obscene.

Real names bit, sure. Fake passports, still no.

3 countries based on the yet-to-be-disclosed information of 1 country.

wow...you still hanging on to denial? you must be one of only a handfull of people worldwide who have the skills to retain such a stupid position.

Mossad did it....wake up.

I hope the MOSSAD agents behind the whacking of the Hamas leader are just as severely punished.
can you have a quiet word with Bigjel? He has not been able to bring himself to accept Mossad did it..... Maybe from a fellow Israel supporter it will be easier for him to move from denial through grief and on to acceptance?

Definitely wasn't the US though:
‘Haaretz’ could not be more wrong – or misleading
Let us suppose, for the sake of argument, that we are talking about the accidental killing of two innocent civilians, compared to the striking down of five murderers belonging to a terrorist cell. Is this proportional? The man who was in charge of targeted killings in the Pentagon, Marc Garlasco, a former defense intelligence analyst at the Pentagon – yes, he of the Nazi memorabilia fiasco in 2009 – was interviewed on 60 Minutes, where he told interviewers that when it came to the assassination of a senior Iraqi terrorist, the guidelines were to kill as many as 29 innocent individuals, in order to take the man out. For them the US, it is one to 29 innocent men, and in Israel, permission is only given if there is one unidentified figure on the scene. And no, there is no order take him or them out. There is a huge gulf between Israel and the United States. Garlasco, incidentally, is responsible for the killing of some 200 innocent civilians, as part of pursuits of wanted terrorists – all while no terrorist was actually struck. No international arrest warrant was issued against Garlasco. On the contrary, he later became a senior member of Human Rights Watch. These are the ratios. This is the proportionality. Haaretz has failed to explain what it regards as proportional. Nor will it ever explain.
Bodycount is too low.

As for evidence to support the allegations, still waiting...

I said false, not fake. Are you deliberately playing dumb?

No, those countries have made their own investigations.

Will you stop with this italic "it's not really me saying this" device. It's beyond tiresome.

there is nothing wrong with saying things that stand up for true Jewish values. all those who are against the blockade are just anti-Semitic pigs.

are you calling Australia and Ireland, anti-Semitic liars?

do you believe Israel might actually be innocent of the charges?

do you give ALL nations and ALL peoples, such an amazing benefit of the doubt? wow.

I can't wait till someone labels Israel's supposed guilt of the assassination and passport fraud, as a "blood libel".

:p

Remember this is the same guy who made up crap about Israeli commandos in Iraq during the 1st gulf war.

Pretty ironic the same dude is so pernickety about actual evidence.
