The Bible also validates its divine authorship through fulfilled prophecies. An astonishing 668[‘b] prophecies have been fulfilled and none have ever been proven false (three are unconfirmed). An honest study of biblical prophecy will compellingly show the divine authorship of the Bible. Further, archeology confirms (or in some cases supports) accounts in the biblical record. No other holy book comes close to the Bible in the amount of evidence supporting its divine authorship.

I am mildly baffled at the relevance of the piece on the neanderthals. The argument is not entirely new and it has been suggested before that climatic changes along with an element of interbreeding with modern man led to their eventual demise as a unique branch - rather than wholesale early replacement. It does not have much bearing on the piece above it which is actually being covered in a current thread in the Religion section.

It's more like I had to be shown in so many ways that this is a spiritual world...

If this is a spiritual world full of all kinds of gods and spirits, why would you believe in a being who denies all those other gods, and consigned those "spiritual" cave painters to an eternity of unspeakable suffering because they didn't believe in Him?

Either you believe those other gods exist and deny the Christian God, or you believe the Christian God and deny all others. You don't get it both ways.

BTW, the cave artists of Europe didn't paint supernatural beings; they painted real-life animals as realistically as they could. They might have done it for spiritual purposes, but to set the record straight, their paintings were not of gods.
