Hello everyone...I came across this website after a friend pointed it out:

http://www.ummo.cc

The person there claims to be able to "remote view" lottery numbers, as well as missing persons, demons, aliens, and the like.

"Aaron Donahue" has included video demonstrations of his abilities as well.

Also, he has even posted winning lottery numbers online before the lottery was drawn. He claims to make a living off winning the lottery. It's very convincing.

If this is a hoax, how could it possibly be done?
If this isn't, then what is it he's doing?

Faked tapes...

Post Hoc lottery numbers (although his page of them is almost complete gibberish... WHICH NUMBERS?)

Most of the rest of his site is pretty much gibberish. I imagine this person has a huge heapin' of self delusion.

Iiiiinteresting. Many have claimed to remote view the same types of things.

"Aaron Donahue" has included video demonstrations of his abilities as well.

John Edwards goes on TV a few times a week and demonstrates his abilities as well. The videos and his performance are suspect, for various reasons.

Also, he has even posted winning lottery numbers online before the lottery was drawn. He claims to make a living off winning the lottery. It's very convincing.

Independent confirmation?

If this is a hoax, how could it possibly be done?
If this isn't, then what is it he's doing?

He could try for the JREF million. He's obviously not morally objected to using his so-called 'powers' for financial gain.

From the website:

I know exactly what
the future is and what we can collectively do to
create the best possible outcome.

Wow! This would seem to be easy to test! :D

Um, did anyone get a chuckle out of this?

I know exactly what the future is and what we can collectively do to create the best possible outcome.
We now face a high probability of extinction before completing a designed stage of intellectual evolution.

If he did "know exactly what the future is", why would he makes claims about facing "a high probability"? Wouldn't he "know"?

This site is so goofy I have to wonder if it's part of a joke. In particular I love The "formula" x/pi+666.

Good point, where is the independent verification?

I'd like to hear more comments on this guy, it's quite interesting.

The main problem here is that remote viewing isn't real! Only simple minded fools believe this kind of rubbish!

maybe, maybe not.

Only a fool would dismiss it without an extremely thorough investigation. it very well could turn out to be valid.

I think a fool would actually believe in that nonsense, because there is no evidence to support the phenomena.

We may as well investigate pixies.

If you can predict the winning lottery numbers, you don't just "make a living" off the lottery. You get filthy stinking rich. Now if he is not into material things and only wins how much he needs, then how about winning the big lotteries over and over again and giving a few hundred million to cancer research, make a wish foundation, or my beer drinking fund.

What a load of bollocks.

He rabbits off long series of numbers, throws in some gobbledygook and then says "hey I worked out the numbers".

Of course, they were the correct number for some 3 number draw over a year ago.

I've got a better idea. What about stating the numbers now. Don't give all the spurious calculations, just the 3 (or whatever) numbers so we can be absolutely clear. And hell, while your at it, make it for sime specific lottery draw in the future.

Then we can go and look before the event and log the prediction and then watch the outcome.

Why do I get the feeling that this is some sort of practical joke, or some nutcase wanting to bump up his hit rate?

For the ultimate account of winning the pools through paranormal assistance, read John Wyndham's lovely short story "A Long Spoon".

Well, the umm debate continues. Apparently hundreds of people say that he did it. Well, here's one reply I got:

"Skeptic:

The independent verification is me and hundreds of other people who visited Aaron's site the 6 consecutive days in a row he posted lottery numbers before their drawings for the Michigan Daily 3."

Now I know testimonials aren't exactly accurate, but how could you prove that to a believer?

Show me where in his long stream of numbers does he specifically identify his 3 winning numbers. The truth is he doesn't. There are just lots of numbers and he then says he predicted it.

Goodness, looks like there's no hope for me. And there's no time to confirm Aaron's claims.

"For you, there's no hope. Much time would be wasted on trying to convince the countless ignorant, ehthnocentric, arrogant, physicalistic, closed-minded fools

His claims are simple:
-the Earth is dying and you are taking part
-humans have a high probablity of going extinct
-we have the power to make the right decisions
-our brains are capable of amazing things that are not acknowledged
-learn to use your brain and listen to your heart

Take it or leave it"

Oh yes, he claims to be selling nothing...but if you look closely enough he provides remote viewing lessons for 250.00/ a lesson. In one radio interview, he mentioned that there is a 2000 person wait. (quite a lot of money, if you do the multiplication)

Now, why would he need to charge for remote viewing lessons if he has all the money he needs from lottery?

Still, we haven't gotten to the core of this, I don't think...
