I think it's a cetacean. At 0:50 in slow motion there appears to be an exhale (blow) in about the position of a blowhole. It seems small with a smallish puff blow. I'd guess a dolphin/porpoise but it could be one of the small species of toothed whales. An expert should be able to identify it, or narrow to a few species. I think it's just one animal near the surface with some trailing waves.
 
a pinaped (sp?) is a seal right? because i think it is a seal, i cant check to see if a pinniped is a seal rt now.
 
Yes, the pinnipeds are seals, sea lions, walrus and donkeys.

It could be that but I don't see a snout. Well, it's not a very clear video anyway. I suspect the filmers know what it was.

The large white creature was unrelated to the video as far as I can see. They chased and possibly hooked a large white creature in a lake, but the line broke. It was probably a sturgeon.

I agree. The show was highly entertaining.

As an avid angler, I was much more impressed with the sturgeon they hooked up on (now that was a true lake monster) than the stupid video which showed nothing.

I've seen them taking some flack from crypto types because of the firearms and dynamite. But if you ask me, the only way the existence of any crypto is going to ever be confirmed is when it is lying on an examination table being autopsied.

Personally I think they knew exactly what they had hooked into when they hooked the sturgeon. If not, why weren't they throwing the dynamite at the creature right then.
 
it is illegal to blow up marine mammals. except when rotting on the beach.

Well, certainly! You need a type specimen to name, describe and publish on a new species. It's incredibly naive and very silly for these cryptozoologists to think some video, photo or even DNA will do it. You need to be able to describe it. Only a body will do. You MIGHT get away with a tooth or another body part but one is asking an awful lot to accept such a creature - the bigger the part, the more credible it will be.
 
I don't think the authorities anywhere this side of a mental institution that would take kindly to dynamiting something that swims and took a baited hook.

I enjoyed the interview with Scott Herriott. Scott is an intelligent, articulate, and funny advocate for Bigfootery. His admission that the physical evidence for Bigfoot is weak is admirable, yet his assertion that a history of anecdotal evidence is compelling is flawed.

very nice job. I do think the last shot is an en face view of the bear. And the cub may be what is underneath. But I think it is really putting too fine a point on it, to suggest the cub is nursing. I have never seen a bear nurse while on all fours. Ordinarily the mother bear would be sitting or reclining.

that does look convincing. The eyeshine I've seen in other pics is more convincing than the two dots noted in the en face interpretation. So I have to go with the head on ground version.
 
The low resolution and grainy images promote pareidolia. River sees an ear, snout, eyes and nostrils on the upside-down head shape. IMO, we may not even be seeing a head there. It could be the rump of another bear (laying?) or something else.
 
Yeah its just a guess at the body position. The head looking back in the link just doesnt work IMHO. Certainly could be another bear, or a large misplaced breast. :o Hey, these bigfeet have very unique features!
