Moneymakin'! The BFRO Bigfoot Expeditions Thread.

Does Bigfoot throw feces very frequently? That would be a great way to drive people out of its territory. Lob a huge steamy stinker at the guy in the camp chair. He won't be coming back ever again.

They could also dump a huge load right by the campers to drive them off. Then there is the urine stream from a 9 footer.

It would be easy for Bigfoot to prevent anyone from having a good time in the woods.

Bigfoot is too smart to throw DNA samples.

 That's so ******* funny!

One can only hope that you just gave any LARPnARGs™ some fun new ideas for future Bigfoot "evidence" round-ups. Maybe next time they won't just step in it, they'll pick it up and savor the aroma too. We need to plant some real fake (Bigfoot) turds with the "corn" and "liquid ass" options near one of the casinos/resorts/spas Moneymaker frequents when he's "finding" Bigfoot.

It's also amazing how bigfoot's strench comes and goes. Sometimes just one creates a horrible stench, that you can smell from far away, and sometimes you are surrounded by many who are nearby, and there's no smell at all.

I have asked for a copy of the nondisclosure agreement.

I am asking Northern Lights again.

Looks so far like even the nondisclosure agreement itself is subject to nondisclosure.

Good golly - just when I thought bigfooting could not get stupiderer we encounter another candy story. NL, you are saying that you and your comrades around the campfire were incapable of coming up with a more parsimonious explanation than bigfootdidit to explain a single Good-n-Plenty found near a guy who had recently spilled a bunch of Good-n-Plentys?

Part of the BIGFOOTER Role Playing game, is tricking your fellow Bigfooters.

If you are on an 'expedition', the key is to fool the fellow bigfooters with a story that the others can buy.

You don't want to stage your hoax, and have your fellow footers label it 'questionable', you want them to at least say that it was a 'probable' Bigfoot.

For example: I am out in my location scouting for the Bigfoot, I know everyone is back at 'Base Camp', so I wait a few minutes, and then scream, and then haul ass back to 'Base Camp' with my Ghillie suit on. I explain that one was sneaking up on me, and then started grunting, and I couldnt pinpoint where it was, so I stood up to look behind the tree I was leaning against, something HUGE crashed through the brush just behind my tree and it WHOOPED at me, I was ******** my pants, so gave out a scream and Haul-arsed back to camp.

Edited to properly mask profanity. Please see Rule 10 re: the auto-censor.

Wow, who runs all the way back to camp in a Ghillie suit? Nobody would do that.

Wow, look he is white as a ghost, he must have seen something.

No Deer or Hog would get that close to a person sitting on the ground it had to be Bigfoot.

Conclusion: Probable Sasquatch

Result: Hoaxer WINS!

If everybody on a Bigfooter outing is a role player then nobody is really tricking anybody in the group. But external skeptics (like JREF) might be tricked into thinking that they are sincere and would quickly and publicly "out" each other for hoaxing.

One of the dangers of the BFRO and other expeditions might be if they get a true believer attending who finds a way to sneak a gun and then blasts when Bigfoot shows up.

Willing Dupes.

It is understood that the guy out in the woods with the Ghillie suit is going to have the first option to bring in a story. If two people go out in two separate locations, you might have one come in, and while telling his story, the other guy will be like "Oh so that's what I heard", or "I thought I caught a flash of one running from your position".

The good ones will know that sometimes you have to say "Nothing happened today" knowing that Bigfoot doesn't ALWAYS show up, this ups the illusion that you are an honest footer, and don't see Bigfoot EVERYTIME you go out in the woods.

Ok,
Three of us were sitting in our camp chairs, with me on the left, Dan in the middle, and Mary of the right, with Ed about 20 yards behind us off to the left. We weren't talking, when something landed with a thump on Dan's chair. We all heard it and Dan said he saw something pass between him and the fire as it landed between his legs. I asked what it was and he said he didn't know.

Dan reached down and pulled out what landed there and it turned out to be a white Good N Plenty piece of candy. We all sat there looking at it and said, no way, it must have been something else, but Dan checked his chair and there was nothing else there. No rocks, no twigs, just the piece of candy. We broke out in hysterical laughter as Dan was holding the piece of candy in his fingers.

NL

If there actually was a flying GnP:

There are 4 suspects - You, Dan, Ed and Mary. My guess is Ed threw the candy at Dan with no intention of anything. Dan pulls out the piece of candy. The initial reaction is hysterical laughter. This started out as a joke, but since you are on a Bigfoot Expedition - Dan plays along like it was some mysterious event and you, Ed and Mary fall in LARPARGing fashion and it becomes a bigfoot contact.

No wonder you ALWAYS have Bigfoot activity at your secluded "HOT SPOT"

That might be hard to control with a group. If someone decides to have an encounter then it can't be a "no Bigfoot day". The leader can't really say "today we will see no Bigfoots" before they start because that ruins the role playing by verbally announcing that they are role players.

I think the MRP was an example for NAWAC about how cool an ongoing fake habituation scenario could be for Bigfooters and also showed them what not to do so as to be somewhat less obvious as a hoax.

I think it obvious that it isn't just daily or even hourly that there is an encounter of some kind. They are continuously pointing out bigfoot evidence from the time the car pulls up to the time the car leaves.

It is only a question of what they can, as a group, form a consensus on for what their best evidence is to write about. The point of the game is to manufacture bigfoot encounters/evidence so they are incessantly doing so.

Try to imagine a person sitting on a beach chair in broad daylight, and you have to land a piece of candy on the chair, between their legs, from say, 20 feet behind them.

That's one magic good n plenty.

Sorry, but I don't have it. If you seriously would like to attend then I will put you in touch with the organizer and I look forward to meeting you.

If you were actually serious about this, you'd sponsor someone, perhaps a skeptic here, perhaps not, and encourage that person to blog/write about his/her experience. I'm not talking about puff-piece by a wide-eyed neophyte but a critical examination.

Sounds good. I will offer to pay half of the $250 out of my pocket for anyone wanting to participate. August 28th through 31st in northern Minnesota.

PM me if you are interested.

Sure. As long as they are willing to sign the NDA and have the basic camping equipment. Even if they don't have all the equipment, I have plenty to share.

I would welcome someone with a very skeptical viewpoint and would be willing to come along. Sounds like fun.
