Merged Molten metal observations

Will we have to wait for the draft to find out who planted the thermite and when and how they did it without anyone noticing and................
Although I say it in the form of a joke I have for some years been pointing out that for this molten metal to be steel it requires (1) a fireproof suited team of invisible suicide workers to (2) go into the worst area of fire and (3)produce a large supply of molten steel from presumably unmolten steel by (4) using a tonne or two of "no bright glow" thermite and (5) some prearranged storage devices AND (6)...(7)...(8) etc....

I'm a fairly pragmatic soul. I call that ridiculous.

BUT it is the inevitable requirement of all this batcrap crazy idea that the cascade of metal was steel.

Therefore it wasn't steel.

My bolding.

There were no "beams" in the exterior walls. If you're suggesting that a spandrel plate was pointlessly attacked - in this one particular location - you'd need to suggest why.

Now having the melting occur there by an agent it makes all the sense in the world. The molten metal flows out as it is being melted. There is no need for a fire source below it because the reaction is occurring on the spot. Possibly behind or around the affected area and that's why we don't see it directly.

I repeat - why? Melting away this small section of exterior wall would achieve precisely nothing 'positive' towards the goals of some supposed evil perpetrators. Quite the reverse in fact.

No wonder truthers never present a complete theory. It's not on ,is it?

Iron begins to cool rather quickly once it moves away from the source of the heat which melted it, but it goes through some gradation of color as it cools. What we see falling from the towers seems to go from bright yellow to silver or clear rather quickly, within a space less than the height of the tower. This is consistant with aluminum or glass. Iron would go through a significat red-hot period on the way down . It does not. Further, iron is not liuquid at the color we see.
QFT - Java Man you need to pay attention to this.

Oz..

how dare you question the qualifications and abilities of the Hush-a-boom corporations Ninjaneers.

I'm more and more convinced that it is steel. It's more understandable that what we see is steel under the effect of a burning agent like thermite than molten aluminium or glass that somehow manages to stay vertical and radiate that yellowish hue out.

You cannot claim it is a type of metal based on the color it shows when molten. Unless you know the type of metal you cannot determine the temperature nor the content.

You have yet to address this point.
Can you name any of the 8 images OY posts which are molten?
Can you eliminate any of the 10 commonly used metals that melt at under 1000C?

Even if it was steel, with everything else piled up in that corner wouldn't it melt and mix with other materials changing the composition, flow, and color making it even harder or impossible to identify?

That would spoil the myth....

It might not have been intentional.

Ah, got it. Some massive thermite delivery system was attached to an obscure part of the insides of WTC2 office space by accident.

You are quite good, I must admit, but not quite (yet?) in the Bill Smith league :D

"Hey Boss - Did y'all see my backpack o' thermite lying around? I done seemed to has lost it somewheres"

Yo done lost yer bonus right there boy. Dang thermeete don' come cheap y'all knows.

At risk of becoming serious this is just another example of how we fall for the truthers tactics. They focus on one isolated issue - "was it molten steel" - and separated from any reference to context. Then "they" (with "us" tacitly agreeing) keep the discussion on very narrow tracks - for this one colour v temperature matching has been one.

The reality in the proper context is that it could not be molten steel for at least a dozen reasons any one of which exclude molten steel.

Hence my bit of parody a few posts back. The logistics of producing a tonne of molten steel in the one corner of the tower most affected by damage and fire whilst the fires raged... Well it would require a fire suited suicide worker team doing some very difficult manual labour tasks...

...an we don't force the truthers to face those logical consequences of their nonsense claims. (And I don't know how you force them either.. :o )
