Mitch McConnell's Battery Ran Out

Absence epilepsy is generally a syndrom of children and juveniles. Most outgrow it before reaching adulthood.

If McConnell has it, then he most likely would have had it since childhood - but he has been out in public so long, so often. We would have seen it many times before. So highly unlikely.

Also, IF McConnell had Absence epilepsy, that in itself would be NO indication that he is unfit for office.
It means that his brain takes a half-minute pause from time to time - and that's it! For a man whose job is 98% related to speech, and rarely time-critical or presents with imminent physical danger of accidents, that's not a problem, really. If he were a pilot, a cab driver, a surgeon, okay. But a politician? Nuhhh!

In short, the fact that his brain frequently stops working merely makes him a garden variety American politician.

I do hope his driving license has been suspended, could be dangerous otherwise. Mind you, he probably gets driven everywhere by someone else.

Not necessarily true. Adults can develop epilepsy after a TBI and other causes: According to the Brain Injury Association:

Seizures which occur early after a traumatic brain injury are felt to be a symptom of the recent injury. Seizures which occur in the late period after TBI are more likely to recur and result in epilepsy.
In one out of two people, post traumatic epilepsy occurs within one year of their brain injury. The more severe the head injury the longer a person is at risk for developing epilepsy. Risk for PTE developing decreases substantially with time but can extend out to 15 years after the original
traumatic injury for people with the most severe brain injuries.

From the Mount Sinai Hospital:

Epilepsy seizures usually begin between ages 5 and 20, but they can happen at any age. Common causes include Stroke, or a mini-stroke called transient ischemic attack; Dementia, or loss of brain function, such as Alzheimer's disease; Traumatic brain injury; Infections in the brain; Brain problems you are born with; or perhaps, a Brain tumor. Some people with epilepsy may have simple staring spells, while others have violent, uncontrollable shaking and loss of consciousness.

I think it's clear that McConnell was not just having a "light-headed" experience. When we get light-headed, we can speak and respond, we don't 'freeze' and stare blankly into space. That they are claiming he was simply light-headed supports they are hiding what's really going on. Even his doctor did not say he WAS light-headed, he just stated what being light-headed IS.

The diagnosis wouldn't be the classic pediatric absence epilepsy. In McConnell's case it would be petit mal seizures following a head injury.

The light headed claim is a feeble attempt to cover up the obvious.

Indeed: the judgmental fingers of God are pinching shut the tube of necromancy that connects McConnell's animated carcase directly to Satan's bunghole.

(There's an ICD10 code for that, I'm sure.)

The Capitol Hill physician: "There is no evidence of stroke, seizure disorder, or Parkinson's."

Yeah, just like Trump was "the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency"!
No evidence? Just freezing for almost half a minute, staring into space and then being disoriented and having to be helped away not once, but at the very least, twice isn't evidence? He has all the classic symptoms of absence seizures.

Dr. Jonathan Reiner on CNN made an interesting observation on the Capitol Hill doctor's statement that "There is no evidence of stroke, seizure disorder, or Parkinson's," regarding McConnell freezing. When asked if it sounded "right" to him, he replied, "No." He said both the freezing incidents are very typical of a 'focal seizure'. So what is a focal vs an absence seizure?
An absence seizure causes a short period of “blanking out” or staring into space. Like other kinds of seizures, they are caused by brief abnormal electrical activity in a person’s brain.

An absence seizure is a generalized onset seizure, which means it begins in both sides of the brain at the same time.
An older term is petit mal seizures.
Absence seizures usually affect only a person’s awareness of what is going on at that time, with immediate recovery.
An atypical absence seizure lasts longer, up to 20 seconds or more.
The seizure still starts with staring into space, usually with a blank look.

Focal seizure:

A focal onset seizure begins in one side of the brain. We used to call these partial seizures. Focal onset seizures are the most common type of seizures in adults with epilepsy.
Focal impaired awareness (complex partial) seizures sometimes resemble either daydreaming or generalized non motor (absence) seizures.
Complex focal seizures can make a person with epilepsy confused or dazed. The person will be unable to respond to questions or direction for up to a few minutes.

Dr. Reiner said that 'We need to read between the lines of what Dr. Monaghan wrote. He wrote that we have no evidence of a seizure disorder. The Senator was given an EEG. But an EEG will only be abnormal in a person with epilepsy about half the time because it's a snapshot of what's going on with the electrical activity of the brain at the time. So if he's not having a seizure, it's not likely to be abnormal. So there is no evidence of a seizure but clinically that is what it appears to be. "

In a nutshell, they're playing word games in order to get around admitting he's having seizures.

"I do not see any evidence that Mr McConnell's brains have liquified and are dripping out of his nose as a bloody goo."

"...you've got your eyes closed! He's doing it right now!"

They're rich. They'll just hire someone.
Funny how they weren't rich before Mitch got elected to the Senate.
Well, to be fair, Moscow Mitch is married to Elaine Chow, who's family was successful in the shipping business, and who has worked as an executive for companies like Bank of America before she started working for various presidential administrations. So even if McConnell actually had any integrity, he and his family would still probably be rich.

there is strong reason to believe that the success of the Chow family is due in part to McConnell's political machinations.
