Michele Bachmann won't seek reelection in 2014

I know she won't be leaving immediately or anything, but I feel now is a good time to compile some of Michele's more memorable quotes, just to appreciate just how completely ******* crazy she really was. I'll start:

Stephen Colbert just did a "tribute" to Bachman showing clips of her best quotes. It should be up at his site tomorrow.

My favorite was in a Youtube video I watched recently. Michelle was in a debate and she interrupted her opponent to ask, "Where does it say in the Constitution there should be separation of church and state?"

What really made it hilarious for me was, when the audience began laughing, Bachmann turned to them beaming. She thought they were laughing with her!

Separation of church and state? In the Constitution? Why that's just plain crazy!

It sounds like you're conflating Bachmann with failed DE Senatorial bimbo Christine O'Donnel.

I know. But the particular situtation nyg was describing happened to O'Connell, but not with Bachmann that I'm aware.

Just for the record, I followed a link posted earlier in the thread and found a Youtube video with Michele Bachmann saying, "Where in the Constitution does it say anything about the separation of church and state?" I can't find it now I'll admit but I believe it was on a CNN televised debate. I'll keep looking.

In the meantime I found (in numerous places):
Michele Bachmann...had this to say, “They’re teaching children that there is separation of church and state, and I am here to tell you that’s a myth — that’s not true.”

There's still hope for comedy writers: http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2013/06/07/bachmann-2016-is-not-off-the-table/?hpt=hp_t2

Rep. Michele Bachmann, who announced last week she won't seek re-election next year, says she may run for elected office again one day and is not ruling out another presidential bid.

But the Minnesota Republican said her future career in politics is not her top priority at the moment.

"I'm not retiring, I'm not going silent, I'm not quitting my public involvement," she said late Thursday night on Fox News' "Hannity." "In fact I may run for another public office. That could happen. But for right now I'm going to find a different perch in order to be able to weigh in on these matters."

She could have her own "Ask the expert" show, and feature folks like the "Crazy rainbow lady". I'd pay to watch it!:)
